About the film Metro (http://www.utvmotionpictures.com/metro-movie.asp)

Today the busy metropolis nurtures millions of people, some of whom earn a lot, some don’t, but all work very hard and for very long hours. The world is becoming smaller. Cell phones have cut down distances. Low cost airlines have got cities closer. There’s less time for breakfast. The sensex is rising. Malls are arising in every corner. The seven year itch has come down to 7 months. Depending on how ambitious one is. We are getting bored too soon. Too many choices. Too many dreams. Not enough sleep. Although modern technology attempts to make this world an easier place to live in, our relationships with each other are getting more and more strained and we keep drifting apart. What happens when true love forges inroads in a heartless world of materialism?

What is the fate of 3 entangled love stories in an urban landscape accustomed to breaking hearts, daring commitments and forcing choices? With an entire world that badly needs to connect and where people need other people, it is the need of hour to simplify communication and self-expression.

METRO is an intertwined story of the emotional journeys that these characters living in the modern metropolitan cities take. The tone of this film is personal reflections and realizations, and thus the story will be told in voiceovers at times and a rock band singing at all emotional junctures. Despite having more than one story, the graph of this film is a single one and the band will keep touching that chord on and off.
