GIBBS AND HIS TEAM INVESTIGATE THE DEATH OF A MARINE WHO CAPTURED HIS OWN DEATH ON TAPE “Caught on Tape” - #038 - The NCIS team is called to investigate when a Marine records his own murder on video as he falls off a cliff, on NCIS, Tuesday, February 22, 2005 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Jeff Woolnough directed the episode from a script by Chris Crowe and John C. Kelley & Gil Grant. Gibbs and the team receive a call that a Marine has been found dead at the bottom of a cliff. When the team shows up to investigate the supposed hiking accident, they learn that he was on a camping trip with his wife and best friend (who they come to find out are having an affair). As Tony and McGee search through the forest for clues, McGee finds the murder weapon that proves the Marine’s death was not caused by his fall. Unfortunately, he finds this evidence in a patch of poison ivy. Gibbs pits the two lovers against each other in separate interrogation rooms to find out whose story is not adding up. Meanwhile Abby uses her superb technical skills to examine the video tape that reveals the Marine unknowingly recorded his own death post-mortem. CAST Leroy Jethro Gibbs.............................. Summer, 2020 Dear Friends of the Music Department, The 2019-20 academic year has been like no other. After a vibrant fall semester featur- ing two concerts by the Parker Quartet, the opening of the innovative Harvard ArtLab featuring performances by our faculty and students, an exciting array of courses and our inaugural department-wide throwdown–an informal sharing of performance projects by students and faculty–we began the second semester with great optimism. Meredith Monk arrived for her Fromm Professorship, Pedro Memelsdorff came to work with the Univer- sity Choir as the Christoph Wolff Scholar, Esperanza Spalding and Carolyn Abbate began co-teaching an opera development workshop about Wayne Shorter’s Iphigenia, and Vijay Iyer planned a spectacular set of Fromm Players concerts and a symposium called Black Speculative Musicalities. And then the world changed. Harvard announced on March 10, 2020 that due to COVID-19, virtual teaching would begin after spring break and the undergraduates were being sent home. We had to can- cel all subsequent spring events and radically revise our teaching by learning to conduct classes over Zoom. Our faculty, staff, and students pulled together admirably to address the changed landscape. The opera workshop (Music 187r) continued virtually; students in Vijay Iyer’s Advanced Ensemble Workshop (Music 171) created an album of original mu- sic, “Mixtape,” that is available on Bandcamp; Meredith Monk created a video of students in her choral class performing her work in progress, Fields/Clouds, and Andy Clark created an incredible performance of the Harvard Choruses for virtual graduation that involved a complicated process of additive recording over Zoom.

Prior to the establishment of the senior center, a group of seniors would meet in the early 1980s at the municipal building to pe tition for a space of their own while using Crossroads Middle School, the VFW, the high school and Woodlol Park as meeting grounds. “We used to join trips. We used to go away sometimes for a week ... and book a hotel,” Sansig said. Then, with permission of the mayor and council at the time, a 10,000-square-foot structure was built for a population of 2,000 residents who were age 55 or older, with about 50 seniors coming to the center each day. Petersen Date: 15 October 2019 Article Number: 319-2019-17 Besides Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune and most all Sports, the two regular TV shows I like to watch are NCIS and Criminal Minds. I decided to write this article about someone from these shows and I picked Mark Harmon because I find his life to be the most interesting. Family Thomas Mark Harmon was born in Burbank, California on September 2, 1951, which makes him 68 years old. He was the youngest of three children. His parents were Heisman Trophy–winning football player and broadcaster Tom Harmon and actress, model, artist, and fashion designer Elyse Knox. Harmon’s two older sisters are the late actress and painter Kristin Nelson, who was divorced from the late singer Rick Nelson, and actress and model Kelly Harmon, formerly married to car magnate John DeLorean. Yes, Mark’s dad was a famous football player at the Mark Harmon’s Parents University of Michigan. He played the halfback position Tom Harmon and wife from 1938 to 1940. He led the nation in scoring and was Elyse Knox a consensus All-American in both 1939 and 1940 and won the Heisman Trophy, the Maxwell Award, and the Associated Press Athlete of the Year award in 1940. His nickname was "Old 98" which I find somewhat unusual for a halfback! He played in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams for a couple of seasons. He was also a military pilot and a sports broadcaster. He died at age 70 in Los Angeles.

Paul Dittmann, 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School Since the Second World War, Canada‟s armed forces have often represented the most prominent federal organization in the occupation and use of the Canadian Arctic. Economic development in the region came in fits and starts, hindered by remoteness and the lack of any long-term industry base. Today the Arctic‟s resource potential, fuelled by innovative technological advances, has fed to demands for infrastructure development. New opportunities in Canada‟s Arctic have, in turn, influenced a growing young population and their need for increased social development. Simultaneously, the fragile environment becomes a global focal point as the realities of climate change are increasingly accepted, diplomatically drawing together circumpolar nations attempting to address common issues. A unipolar world order developed with the geopolitical imbalance caused by the fall of the Soviet Union. This left the world‟s sole superpower, the United States (US), and its allies facing increased regional power struggles, international terrorism, and trans-national crime. Given the combination of tremendous growth in the developing world, its appetite for commodities, and the accessibility to resource-rich polar regions facilitated by climate change, Canada faces security and sovereignty issues that are both remnants of the Cold War era and newly emerging. The response to these challenges has been a resurgence of military initiatives to empower Canadian security and sovereignty in the region.
