Richaele Long says her best feature is her stomach. That’s something a lot of us would like to say. You can’t deny, though, her abs are the stuff of dreams … all kinds of them. One gentleman, pleased by more than her midsection – which would only make him one of a crowd, a large one – decided to throw caution to the wind. Can you blame him? “Are you from Tennessee? Because you’re the ten I see,” he stated. OK, OK, perhaps we can blame him. “The best tip I could give guys about dating is to relax,” Richaele advises. “To get me in a romantic mood, you would need to get me a bottle of red wine,” she purred. Red wine? It’s time to start looking for a liquor store. Hey, to be in that position – and unprepared – well, that’s just too painful to think about. PHOTO CREDIT WILLIAM UZ

Candi. That had to be her name? Then again, I guess Gladys wouldn’t quite fi t. I mean, look at her! I’ll try to keep things from degenerating to a particular level, but knowing me, and given her attributes, that won’t be easy. “Be spontaneous,” said Candi, when asked about dating. That’s not so diffi cult. It’s part of my playbook. So, what else works? “To get me in romantic mood, get me a glass of wine,” the Washington-born Rounder Girl ordered. At your service, no request is too much. . By the way, and I’m just asking, no pressure, no pressure, where might all of this lead? “We got dinner and then a hotel,” Candi said, describing her best dating adventure. “We went down to the casino, and then spent the rest of the night in our room (smiles). When we woke up, we ordered a huge breakfast.” I’m, uh, speechless. I promised to behave myself. Like I said above, that’s easier said than done. PHOTO CREDIT JAY PIERCE PHOTO CREDIT JAY

Be The Next Rounder Girl The Show OPEN CASTING CALLS One Freeroll Beau Rivage Resort & Casino BY JOHNNY KAMPIS Biloxi, MS n interesting situation occurred recently in a home Saturday, January 10th game in which I frequently play. Billy made a move I Ahave never seen, (what I have deemed for the purposes of Noon to 4pm discussion; ‘the show one freeroll’) and it nearly got another player (Tournament Lobby Area) to fold.

is game is $10-$20 Limit Hold’em with a rock that occasionally For more information, doubles the stakes to $20-$40. Several players were involved in this call 205-937-9887 hand, and the fl op came 8c-9d-Jc. After some betting only Matt and Billy were left in the hand. e turn brought the Qh, completing Girls must be 21 to participate any straights for players with a ten in their hands. Matt led out and Billy called while saying “club on the river please.” He then showed the ace of clubs in his hand. e river was the 4c, completing any club fl ushes. Matt checked, Billy bet and Matt made a crying call with his straight. Billy turned over the ten of hearts for the same straight.

Now most astute players would make the same play Matt would here. ey would expect the player is only showing them the ace of clubs and talking about fl ushes in a weak attempt to get them to fold the winning hand. Check call rules the day on the river in this situation. What made Billy’s play such a good move here in my opinion was that he was freerolling by trying to put a mind trick on Matt. If Billy does nothing but play out his hand they will both show their straights on the end and split the pot, but by trying to pretend that he has a fl ush he at least gives himself a shot of taking the pot down uncontested on the river.

is situation could potentially backfi re in no limit, however, depending on the opposition. If Billy made the same play in the big bet version of hold’em a smart player might check raise him all-in, believing Billy doesn’t really have the fl ush and trying to blow him off his hand. It’s a possible play if unlikely. e more likely result in no limit is another crying river call, and a big bet for a lot of chips in no limit in a similar spot might win the pot for Billy.

Remember that you can never show your cards in tournament play or risk a penalty, but if you are in a (and especially in a home game) this play might fl y. If you ever fi nd yourself in a similar spot as Billy, you might want to try this play yourself and see if it benefi ts you.

New York isn’t for everybody. Jessica Vance, as you can tell from our photos, isn’t every body. A model from Birmingham, Alabama, Jessica has been teasing, unknowingly, the male population of New York City for nearly a decade. “I’ve lived in New York for eight years, I absolutely love it,” she said. “People say New York can chew you up and spit you out, but I’ve become a New Yorker at heart.” Manhattan – a Mecca for fashion – is the place to be if you strut the runway, something Jessica is more than accustomed to doing. “I’ve been doing this for a while – it’s the only job I’ve ever had,” she laughed. “I was walking through a mall in Birmingham and a scout came over and asked me if I did any modeling. That was on a Friday. On the following Monday, I signed a contract. “I love fashion, that’s one of my favorite things. I also love the traveling.” Jessica might be the topic of our dreams, especially after viewing this spread, but she’s been fortunate enough to have many of her own fantasies come true. “I’ve been doing what I want to do for so long, I think I’ve achieved my goals,” she offered. “Being able to travel, and to see the things I’ve seen, I’ve done a lot of the things I wanted. I’ve done commercials and music videos, and I traveled to Milan and Paris to work, which was a dream of mine. “Luckily, I feel that I’ve stayed humble.” Decorating our cover, and creating a legion of frustrated fans

in the process, shows, however, that there are always new worlds to conquer. “I’m extremely excited,” Jessica said. “I’m a huge fan of poker, so it’s thrilling. I’ve been on the cover of local publications in Birmingham. The last one was for Birmingham Magazine. “I was born and raised there, and I still have a home in the area.” Milan, Paris, New York, Birmingham … what about Las Vegas? “How many times have I been there? I don’t even know if I can count that high,” said Jessica. “It’s my second-favorite place, besides New York. I love the energy, the restaurants, the shows, the casinos, the people. It doesn’t matter what time it is, that place is always going. “I also love that there’s no humidity. In all the times I’ve been there, I think it’s rained once! It’s very hard to have a bad-hair day.” Jessica told us she’s a fan of poker, but does she ever play? “I try, I’ll say that, but I love it,” she said. “I’ve been doing it with friends, probably the last six years. I was afraid to play in casinos, until they came out with the low (stakes) tables. “I’ve played in Vegas, in Atlantic City and at Foxwoods. The game that I’m best at is blackjack, but my guilty pleasure is video poker. It’s exciting! I’m like a kid in a candy store.” Along with video poker, Jessica also has a thing for sports. “I love baseball and college football. I’m a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves,” she enthused. “Living in New York, you have to choose between the Yankees and the Mets, so I’d have to pick the Yankees, but the Braves are my team. “I’m a softball player, so I’m really into baseball. My Chihuahua’s name is Javy Lopez (for the former Atlanta catcher). I also have a Yorkshire, who’s name is Presley Lennon, even though she’s a girl. She’s only three pounds, but she’s a little rock star.” The Yorkshire, of course, being named after Elvis – no last name is needed – and former Beatle John Lennon. Once our readers catch a glimpse of Jessica, some might be inspired to name a few things after her. What kind of things? Let’s not even go there.
