Two years after his first title win, BMW M4 driver Marco Wittmann again secured the DTM drivers' title at the 2016 season finale at the Hockenheimring. In honor of this success, BMW M launched the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition. Compared to the standard BMW M4, the edition, which is limited to 200 units worldwide, has an increase in output of 51 kW / 69 HP to 368 kW / 500 PS. Top-class motorsport technology and a design that cites DTM racing cars make the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition a high- performance coupé with a focus on racetrack operation and an extraordinary collector's item. The BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition is only available in the color alpine white. The wrapping is reminiscent of the look of the DTM racing cars from BMW Motorsport and underlines the relationship between the edition model and the brand's successes in the world's most popular touring car series. The various aerodynamic components made of carbon fiber contribute to the distinctive racing car look. These include the front splitter, the aero flicks positioned in front of the front wheel arch, the exterior mirror caps, the side skirt attachments, the rear diffuser and the large fixed rear wing on the trunk lid.
