Carrera GO!!! Fun and Action for All Junior Drivers Carrera GO!!! Fun and action for all junior drivers Salzburg, January 2018 – Carrera GO!!! is all about fun and action. There are lots of new children’s bedroom circuit sets in the new year. Great action elements like loops and steep bends guarantee an extra dose of excitement in on-track battles between fantastic sports cars, the heroes of DTM and Formula 1 or the popular movie stars of the Disney•Pixar Cars films. The new season has begun for all Carrera racers of 6 years and up! For years, the heroes of the Disney•Pixar Cars films have been ever-present in cinemas and out on Carrera racing circuits. In the new ‘Disney•Pixar Cars 3 ‐ Radiator Springs’ set, film star Lightning McQueen rides out for the first time in his new blue livery as ‘Fabulous Lightning McQueen’. Lining up alongside there’s Cruz Ramirez with her yellow paintwork as ‘Dinoco Cruz Ramirez’. The 5.3-metre all-action circuit features a loop and fly-over to test nerves and skill to the limit. Can the young challenger overcome the racetrack veteran? Motorsport fans can really launch their careers with the new DTM sets. The ‘DTM Speed Club’ set pits Jamie Green’s Audi RS 5 DTM with over 500 hp against the Red Bull BMW M4 DTM of Marco Wittmann as they send the speedo way over to the right. The gigantic 8.9-metre circuit features two loops, a high-speed straight, fly-over and a steep bend for amazing action and gaming fun. The ‘DTM Competition’ set offers younger Carrera drivers a concentrated dose of excitement as Gary Paffett in his Mercedes- AMG C 63 DTM chases his Swedish-British opponent Tom Blomqvist in the BMW M4 DTM. Who can keep a steady hand on the control console and master the loop and steep bend on the 6.2-metre circuit to earn the title of Carrera Champion? There’s also plenty to thrill Formula 1 fans in the Carrera GO!!! format. The ‘Ferrari Race Spirit’ set is a joy for all Tifosi with an internal Ferrari duel. Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel underline their status as genuine Formula 1 legends as they fly around 5.3-metre circuit and face the challenges of the tight bends and tough loop at daredevil speeds. Which of these Ferraris will cross the line first? In contrast, ‘Champions Course’ reignites the battle for the title of world champion: Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari SF16-H stares across the front line of the grid at his arch rival Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes F1 W07 hybrid. Neither driver will give an inch on the 8.9-metre racing circuit en route to the top of the podium. Carrera GO!!! cars are also long-distance specialists, just like the cult brand Ferrari – a name that stands for style and elegance, and incredible power. The ‘Ferrari GT3’ set features a duel between the red Ferrari 488 GTE ‘AF Corse’ with a brutal 660 hp engine – and the eye-catching blue Ferrari 488 GT3 ‘AF Corse’. The name of the ’Pedal to the Medal’ set says it all: Junior drivers speeding around the 6.2-metre racing circuit need to keep their nerves under control to keep the two ultra-powerful racing cars – the Porsche GT3 Cup and the Mercedes-AMG GT3 – on a challenging circuit featuring a loop, steep bend and a high-speed straight. The police and firefighters are ready for action around the clock in the ‘Mission Control’ set. Whether chasing criminals or fighting fires, the emergency services master all obstacles on the 6.2-metre circuit to reach the scene as quickly as possible – around the loop, over the fly-over and down the high-speed straight. The Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé ‘112’ accelerates from 0 - 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The US police officers are also blessed with a high-speed miracle in the shape of a Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 ‘Police’ to put fear into the heart of every bad guy. The officers in ‘Police Check’ ride in a mighty blue-and-yellow Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé and can be on the tail of the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Avio in a second. Nevertheless, the officers have to put the pedal to the metal around the 8.4-metre circuit with a jump-ramp. No problem for an Italian sports car with a V10 induction engine at speeds that peak at 325 km/h. The flashing blue lights of the emergency services in these two sets create an authentic action atmosphere and enable them to be seen from considerable distances. The Carrera GO!!! car pool has also grown in size and stature. The new blue-livery Fabulous Lightning McQueen, the popular hero of the Cars films, is joined on the Carrera GO!!! circuit by two other familiar faces from the Disney•Pixar Cars empire. Cruz Ramirez is the shooting star of the current third Disney•Pixar Cars film and faces the challenge posed by new rivals and old hands alike. Out on the Carrera GO!!! racetrack she wins hearts of junior drivers everywhere as ‘Final Race Cruz’ in her yellow livery featuring the ‘Rust-eze’ lettering. In the third film, Lightning McQueen’s original rival, Chick Hicks, has started a second career as a sports commentator, but he’s still happy to race around at full speed on Carrera circuits! Even the oldest of the Disney•Pixar Cars characters, the Carrera GO!!! version of Strip ‘The King’ Weathers, is certainly not entertaining retirement and still gets his thrills at the chequered flag. BWM, Mercedes or Audi? Carrera GO!!! features all the top rides from the DTM series. Since 2015, the British-Swedish driver Tom Blomqvist has been in the driving seat for Team Racing Bart Mampaey with the number 31 on his white 500-hp BMW M4 DTM! Timo Glock’s yellow BMW M4 in the Deutsche Post livery sends jaws dropping by accelerating from 0 – 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. In the first race of the 2017 season on the Nürburgring circuit this power was easily enough to reach second spot on the podium. British driver Gary Paffett drives his Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM for Team Mercedes-AMG DTM HWA. Compared to last season’s car, 70% of this season’s car parts are new. Paul Di Resta’s Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM pumps out more than 500 hp, a front-page achievement celebrated by the TV Spielfilm logo featured on the sides of the car. Jamie Green finished third in the overall drivers’ table and his orange Audi Sport Team Rosberg Audi RS 5 DTM also packs over 500 hp. The aerodynamic Audi RS 5 DTM of the German driver Mike Rockenfeller appears in a green and neon-yellow livery, and is also a stunning eye-catcher as it rockets around the circuit. Ferrari impresses the crowds in long-distances races with the Ferrari 488 GTE ‘AF Corse, No.51’ and the Ferrari 488 GT3 ‘AF Corse, No.71’. Both Ferraris guarantee victories whatever the circuit, accelerating from 0 - 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. Mercedes picks up the gauntlet with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 ‘Haribo’ – the fastest long-distance golden gummy bear in the world. The V8-Biturbo Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé solar beam is a Mercedes supersportscar that can perform in all seasons, in the sun or the rain, powered by an incredible 522 hp engine. In contrast, Ford faces the challenge with the very first super-powered pony car. The Ford Mustang '67 - Racing Red infects every lover of these classic racers with a powerful racing bug. Last but not least, one very popular superhero just can’t get enough track action and is back on the Carrera GO!!! racing circuit in the ‘Spider Racers’ set. Spiderman, the super spider himself, is back is the red-and-blue ‘Ultimate Spiderman ‐ Spider Speed Shifter’ to face his arch enemy, Green Goblin, in the yellow-and-green ‘Ultimate Spiderman ‐ Goblin Getaway’. Only one of them can be victorious on this 3.6-metre circuit with high-speed straights, but who will it be: Spiderman or Green Goblin? All the best reproduction licenses, the coolest racing circuits, thrills and spills! Only Carrera GO!!! can guarantee so much action and gaming fun. Audi MediaInfo Triple champion René Rast: “The DTM has always been my home” • The big champion’s interview with the Audi factory driver • From the Audi RS 5 DTM to the Audi e-tron FE07 • Double program possible in Formula E and DTM Neuburg a. d. Donau, November 18, 2020 – The future is electric, also for René Rast. The most successful Audi DTM driver of all time will take part in the FIA Formula E World Championship for Audi in 2021, but the 34-year-old father of a family has also already set his next goal in the DTM. With his third title triumph in just four years, René Rast wrote DTM history at the beginning of November. The Minden-born driver, who lives in Bregenz (Austria), won 24 races in record time with the Audi RS 5 DTM, took 20 pole positions, set the fastest lap 14 times and collected 1,113 points. With 77 starts, this corresponds to an average of more than 14 points per race. In the DTM’s eternal list of best drivers, René Rast is now tied with racing legend Klaus Ludwig in second place for championship titles. In this interview, the German explains how he spent the days after winning his third title, which goals he has for Formula E, why he remains loyal to Audi and which DTM record he still wants to break. How does this sound: three-time DTM champion and on a par with a legend like Klaus Ludwig? Of course, it is a very special feeling to be among the three best DTM drivers in history.

Donau, June 16, 2021 – The DTM starts its 36th season under new auspices in which Audi is strongly represented on two grids. While the DTM is relying on GT3 sportscars like the Audi R8 LMS for the first time after two decades of Class 1 touring cars, the DTM Trophy is tackling its second season with production-based models like the Audi R8 LMS GT4. “Audi knows the DTM very well and, with twelve title successes in the drivers classification alone, is one of the two most successful brands in history. A new era begins for the DTM in 2021. Gerhard Berger has succeeded in transforming the Class 1 era into a highly attractive platform based on GT motorsport. The 2021 season promises pure excitement thanks to a high level of brand diversity and an internationally top-class driver line-up,” says Julius Seebach, Managing Director Audi Sport GmbH and responsible for motorsport at Audi. “For our Audi Sport customer racing customers, the new DTM platform offers the opportunity to fight for the coveted DTM title. With the R8 LMS, we offer the product that is capable of winning and are pleased that the teams have chosen Audi.” As usual, two races are scheduled for each of the eight events. They usually last 55 minutes plus one lap and include one mandatory pit stop each.

BMW Corporate Communications Media Information DTM 2nd July 2017 Second race, second BMW victory: Maxime Martin wins eventful Sunday race at the Norisring. • BMW’s 75th victory in the DTM since 1984. • Maxime Martin stands on the top step of the DTM podium for the third time. • Five BMW M4 DTMs finish in the top ten. Norisring. Following Bruno Spengler’s (CAN) victory in Saturday’s race at the Norisring (GER), it was another BMW driver who crossed the finish line in first place at the end of the eighth race of the year on Sunday: after 66 laps, two safety car phases and one red flag, Maxime Martin (BEL) took the chequered flag to claim the 75th success for BMW in the DTM having started from seventh on the grid. Martin backed up third place in Budapest (HUN) and second place on Saturday with his third DTM victory – his first since 2015 at the Nürburgring. For BMW, this was a fitting conclusion to a historic weekend at the Norisring. BMW was victorious in Nuremberg for the first time since 1992 – and, as was also the case back then, in both races. Marco Wittmann (GER), Augusto Farfus (BRA), Tom Blomqvist (GBR) and Timo Glock (GER) finished fifth, seventh, ninth and tenth to complete a fine team result, with five BMW M4 DTMs in the top ten on Sunday. Spengler came home twelfth, having been in contention for a podium finish for long periods of the race. Qualifying: As usual, the grid positions at the narrow street circuit were decided by mere thousandths of a second.

The last time the DTM saw such a close finish was 24 years ago. “The race was pretty entertaining,” said René Rast, who had to fight hard for his first victory of the season – especially against pole sitter Robin Frijns. The two brand mates clashed in the first corner after the start. “I had to drive through the grass in Turn 1, and also afterwards the fight with Robin was pretty hard. We pitted early to react to an undercut of Robin and Marco (Wittmann). I knew that Nico would come in the end on fresher tires. Our strategy was brave, and it got pretty tight, but fortunately it worked for us.” Nico Müller didn’t get a perfect start from second on the grid. “There was more grip than I expected,” said the Swiss. “When René and Robin did some rallycrossing in front of me, I briefly had a clear view.
