Christian Friedl Becomes New Director of the SEAT Plant in Martorell Christian Friedl becomes new Director of the SEAT plant in Martorell . He will take up his duties from January with the aim of boosting the electrification of the factory . Until now, Friedl directed the Porsche plant in Zuffenhausen . He will report to Vice-President for Production and Logistics, Herbert Steiner Martorell, 02/12/2020. Christian Friedl has been appointed Director of SEAT’s Martorell plant starting from 1st January. Friedl previously headed the Porsche plant in Zuffenhausen (Germany), the brand’s main production centre, and in his new position he will report to the company’s Vice- President for Production and Logistics, Herbert Steiner. The new Director of SEAT Martorell replaces Dr. Rainer Fessel, who will take over the management of the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg. Friedl will be responsible for SEAT’s main plant, where the company produces six different models on three production lines: the SEAT Ibiza, SEAT Arona, SEAT Leon, CUPRA Leon, CUPRA Formentor and Audi A1. The new SEAT Martorell Director will lead the electrification of the factory, which in recent weeks has begun production of the SEAT Leon e-HYBRID and the CUPRA Leon e-HYBRID, and the new CUPRA Formentor, the first model developed exclusively by the CUPRA brand, which in the coming weeks will also add a plug-in electric hybrid version. Today, the Martorell factory manufactures 2,200 cars a day and has more than 9,000 employees. SEAT President Wayne Griffiths emphasised that “Christian Friedl is one of the best managers in the production area of the Volkswagen Group. He was appointed Director of the Porsche Zuffenhausen plant before the age of 40 and led its expansion to accommodate the production of the new Porsche Taycan. With his leadership and that of Herbert Steiner, we aim to transform the Martorell plant to build electric vehicles from 2025.” The President of SEAT also congratulated Dr. Rainer Fessel on his appointment as head of the Wolfsburg plant: “In his two and a half years at SEAT, he has guided the Martorell plant to record volumes and successfully launched four new models. I wish him all the best in his new career at the heart of the Volkswagen Group and thank him for his time at SEAT.” Furthermore, SEAT Executive Vice-President for Production and Logistics Herbert Steiner underscored that “it’s a pleasure to have Christian Friedl in my team. His career at Porsche will help to further promote more sustainable, intelligent and digitised production processes to meet the challenges of the coming years.” The new Director of SEAT Martorell has developed his career at Porsche, which he joined in 1999. Having studied mechanical engineering at the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences, he has held various production-related positions in the areas of engines, bodywork and paint. In 2016, he Page 1 of 2 was appointed Director of Porsche’s Zuffenhausen production plant, which produces models such as the 911 and the Taycan, Porsche’s first 100% electric vehicle. SEAT is the only company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets cars in Spain. A member of the Volkswagen Group, the multinational has its headquarters in Martorell (Barcelona), sells vehicles under the SEAT and CUPRA brands, while SEAT MÓ covers urban mobility products and solutions. SEAT exports 81% of its vehicles, and is present in more than 75 countries. In 2019, SEAT sold 574,100 cars, posted a profit after tax of 346 million euros and a record turnover of more than 11 billion euros. SEAT employs over 15,000 professionals and has three production centres – Barcelona, El Prat de Llobregat and Martorell, where it manufactures the Ibiza, Arona and Leon. Additionally, the company produces the Ateca in the Czech Republic, the Tarraco in Germany, the Alhambra in Portugal and the Mii electric, SEAT’s first 100% electric car, in Slovakia. These plants are joined by SEAT:CODE, the software development centre located in Barcelona. SEAT will invest 5 billion euros through to 2025 in R&D projects for vehicle development, specially to electrify the range, and to equipment and facilities. The company aims to make Martorell a zero-carbon footprint plant by 2050. • Catalonia 1400 the International Gothic Style
Lluís Borrassà: the Vocation of Saint Peter, a panel from the Retable of Saint Peter in Terrassa Catalonia 1400 The International Gothic Style Organised by: Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. From 29 March to 15 July 2012 (Temporary Exhibitions Room 1) Curator: Rafael Cornudella (head of the MNAC's Department of Gothic Art), with the collaboration of Guadaira Macías and Cèsar Favà Catalonia 1400. The International Gothic Style looks at one of the most creative cycles in the history of Catalan art, which coincided with the period in western art known as the 'International Gothic Style'. This period, which began at the end of the 14th century and went on until the mid-15th century, gave us artists who played a central role in the history of European art, as in the case of Lluís Borrassà, Rafael Destorrents, Pere Joan and Bernat Martorell. During the course of the 14th century a process of dialogue and synthesis took place between the two great poles of modernity in art: on one hand Paris, the north of France and the old Netherlands, and on the other central Italy, mainly Tuscany. Around 1400 this process crystallised in a new aesthetic code which, despite having been formulated first and foremost in a French and 'Franco- Flemish' ambit, was also fed by other international contributions and immediately spread across Europe. The artistic dynamism of the Franco- Flemish area, along with the policies of patronage and prestige of the French ruling House of Valois, explain the success of a cultural model that was to captivate many other European princes and lords.

Chairman’s Letter Dear Shareholders, Once again I am pleased to have the opportunity to address you with a summary of the evolution and most significant events of the Acesa Group in the past financial year. On this occasion, moreover, allow me to advance that 2001 was an especially significant and important year in the history of our company. It was significant for three motives. Firstly, because Acesa showed that it is a Group which is able to broaden and diversify its investments, within Spain and internationally. Secondly, because the Acesa Group closed the 2001 financial year with very satisfactory results, in spite of the slowdown in the economic growth cycle, increasing net consolidated profit by 5.6% to 172 million euros. And finally, because in the last year we strengthened our strategy as a management Group of infrastructures that facilitate mobility, communication and specifically, the quality of life of the society. In the year 2001 Acesa Group continued the solid, prudent and profitable growth that we hope deserves the confidence shown by own shareholders. Our willingness to grow our main activity in the highway sector and expand towards new business lines associated with infrastructures, has continued – as you can observe in this Annual Report – at a good pace.

THESIS TIRANT LO BLANC(H): MASCULINITIES, PHALLOSOCIAL DESIRE, AND TRIANGULAR CONSTELLATIONS Submitted by Francisco Macías Department of English In partial fulfillment of the requirements For the Degree of Master of Arts Colorado State University Fort Collins, Colorado Fall 2011 Master’s Committee: Advisor: Roze Hentschell Ellen Brinks Fernando Valerio-Holguín Copyright by Francisco Macías 2011 All Rights Reserved ABSTRACT TIRANT LO BLANC(H): MASCULINITIES, PHALLOSOCIAL DESIRE, AND TRIANGULAR CONSTELLATIONS The introduction of this thesis provides a revised survey that examines the analysis of Tirant scholars to date, including evaluations of its sources and influences, theories concerning its circulation, its autobiographical aspects, and its genre, among other approaches to literary criticism. It draws attention to points of contention and highlights and rectifies those that have been overlooked or that have remained undisputed. “Chapter One: Queer Heterosexualities in the Tirant: Straight until Proven ‘Other’” addresses the issue of masculinities in the clergy, the chivalry, and the monarchy by mapping models of masculinity—conventional and competing—within a phallosocial context. And “Chapter Two: Bizarre Love Triangles in the Tirant: Consummation of Phallosocial Desire” traces phallosocial desire by analyzing the processes that lead to a symbolic consummation of same-sex relations by means of erotic triangles within a (mandatory) heterosexuality, where women become the (required) vessel by which phallosocial desire is reified and

Hola! SEAT essence: 70 years concentrating sportiness in a compact size ▪ In the 70-year history of SEAT, the compact sporty car has always played an important role in its model catalogue ▪ Performance and handling of a sporty car, at the right size and price, with the expected safety: a continuous achievement by SEAT Martorell, 09/11/2020. What does a very light coupé weighting just 720 kilos with rear-wheel drive have to do with a multi-purpose five-seater front-wheel drive that triples its power? Both symbolize how SEAT has always been able to tune in to its audience. SEAT discovered very early on, that sporty cars opened the door to the hearts of the younger public. • “Identifying the Employment and Population Centers at Regional and Metropolitan Scale: the Case of Catalonia and Barcelona”
52nd European Congress of the Regional Association International – ERSA-RSAI: Regions in Motion, Breaking the Path. Bratislava, Slovakia (21st – 25th August 2012) “Identifying the Employment and Population Centers at regional and metropolitan scale: The Case of Catalonia and Barcelona” Masip Tresserra, Jaume†∗ ABSTRACT: Nowadays, the urban structure of the metropolitan areas has led to a polynucleated structure, breaking with the paradigm of the monocentric city. The specialized literature has studied this polynucleated structure by identifying the centers that are within of these urban areas. According to this objective, many approaches have used in order to identify these centers (sub-centres): by analyzing the employment or population density and by studying the mobility flows. In this paper, the employment and population centers in Catalonia and in the Barcelona Metropolitan Region are identified by taking into account a new mobility approach, focusing on the flows of workers and people. In doing so, this study has carried out a dynamic analysis: from 1981 to 2010 in the case of identifying population centers and from 1991 to 2001 in the case of detecting employment centers at the time that the functional and the administrative boundaries of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region has also taken into account. Then, the influence of these identified sub-centres on the urban spatial structure is analyzed by estimating the evolution of polycentricity level and their influence on the urban hierarchy. The results by having this dynamic perspective (1981-2010) and (1991-2001) suggest: a more polynucleated structure of the Barcelona Metropolitan Region as well as the Catalan territory, an increment of the influence of the identified sub-centres on the urban hierarchy at the time that these identified centres are more dominant in terms of in-commuting flows, more self-contained in comparison with the sub-centres that are detected by using the standard employment and demographic density functions.
