This is a relaxing spot to start your day and get introduced to this chaotic city. Jemaa El Fna Square & Souk Shopping From your first stop, you will walk here (~15 mins) along the small streets of the medina. The walk will show you a more traditional way of living and allow you to admire the complexity of this city. The souks surround the square so start shopping! Marrakech Museum Continuing the exploration of the old town, head over to the Museum from the maze of the souks which should be anywhere from 10 to 20 mins. You can admire great art as well as the outdoor gardens. If open after renovations, head over to Ben Youssef Madrasa which is nearby as well. Here you can drink alcohol much easier compared to the old town and it’s a completely different vibe. Back to Jemaa El Fna The chaos of the square needs to be experienced during the day and the night. The night makes it much more mysterious, loud, and just simply crazy. If it’s too much for you to walk around, I suggest grabbing a tea on the balcony of a restaurant and watching the chaos from above. Riad or Hostel Marrakech has beautiful lodging so take full advantage of your last night here by enjoying your stay. PERFECTDAYSOMEWHERE.COM.
