OBAMA described the shooting as an attack on a place of solidarity and empowerment and reiterated a need for stricter gun laws, AT THE saying, “To actively do nothing is a decision as well,” but didnít elaborate on the changes he would like to see. FEDERAL A day later, OBAMA escalated his call that dangerous LEVEL people not be allowed to obtain high-powered weapons, saying the country needs more "soul-searching" after MATEEN used legally purchased firearms to kill 49 people at the Pulse.
