Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ceremony was attended by a small number of dignitaries including the Governor-General, the Prime Minister, the Chief of the Defence Force and the Chairman of the Australian War Memorial, and was nationally televised. Projected on the building was the name Private George William Harold Manning, who is listed on the Memorial’s Roll of Honour.
