RESIDENCY OPEN CALL VALLI DEL NATISONE - THROUGH LANDSCAPE 2017 II Edition RESIDENCY OPEN CALL VALLI DEL NATISONE - THROUGH LANDSCAPE 2017 Second Edition RESIDENCY OPEN CALL VALLI DEL NATISONE - THROUGH LANDSCAPE 2017 II edition RESIDENCY OPEN CALL VALLI DEL NATISONE - THROUGH LANDSCAPE 2017 second edition Terms & conditions Article 1 - APPLICANT ENTITIES Valli del Natisone – Through Landscape is a project by the Municipality of Stregna made with the financial contribution of the Region Friuli-Venezia Giulia; under the patronage of San Leonardo, Savogna, Grimacco and Tolmin Municipalities; concept and co-organization by Tinaos Cultural Association; in collaboration with Cultural Association Potok, Benecija Amateur Dramatic Society Beneško Gledališče, Nediške Doline local tourist office, Srebrna kaplja Association, Malin-Mill Association and Tribil Superiore Sports and Recreational Association; technical partners Albergo Diffuso Valli del Natisone and Agriturismo Bozica; sponsor CrediFriuli Article 2 – FOREWORD The notification addresses artists and professional companies who work in the field of entertainment, live shows in particular: theatre, dance, music, visual arts, performance and multimedia. The announcement offers four residencies, with the aim of supporting artistic production in the first half of September 2017 in the Natisone Valleys area. Article 3 - LOCATIONS The Natisone Valleys are located in the eastern part of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region (Italy), on the border with Slovenia. The peculiar fan-shaped valley system is composed by the valleys of the Natisone river and its tributaries Alberone, Cosizza and Erbezzo. It is dominated by Mount Matajur: from its grassy peak the Adriatic Sea is visible. Land of strong migrations, the Valleys saw the passage of Venetians, Celts, Romans, Lombards and Slavs. The tight relationship between man and environment, the peculiar geographical position and the blending of different cultures make this area unique from a historical, cultural and geomorphological point of view. Article 4 – AWARDS The competition provides an award for a total amount of 2.000 €. The amount is going to be equally divided among the four selected projects (375,00 euro net amount with 25% tax at source for each residence). Article 5 - WHAT DOES THE ANNOUNCEMENT OFFER The selected artists will be guests in tourist homes with kitchen facilities, located in the Natisone Valleys area, between September 1st and 17th 2017 (sixteen nights). The beginning of the activities is expecteded on September 2nd with a "round table" during which the winning projects will be presented. Rehearsals will take place from September 3rd to 16th, and will take a maximum of eight hours per day, within a schedule in compliance with the organisation, in the spaces provided by the municipalities of San Leonardo, Grimacco and Savogna. Said spaces are disused schools and multi-purpose rooms, not meant for theatrical use: a basic sound mixer (2 speakers + analogic mixer) will be available. Each artist and/or company will work in said residence with its own equipment, which has to be adequate to the available spaces. Participants will take care of the accommodation and working spaces. The possibility of using bulky sceneries and perforations is excluded. The organisation reserves its right of decision regarding the purposes of spaces and equipments. At the end of the residencies, the artistic direction reserves its right to choose a maximum of two projects to be included in the theatrical season “Muggia Teatro 2018/2019”, offering an encore performance with a remuneration to be determined on agreement, accommodation and technical profile. The announcement does not provide refunds for board, travel expenses and further technical equipment. Article 6 - ELIGIBLE ENTITIES The announcement is for single artists or professional companies only, set up in any legal form. Companies must be made up by a maximum of five people. Transportation autonomy is required during the residence period: coming by car is therefore strongly recommended. Article 7 - ELIGIBLE PROJECTS Works which are being studied or set up are able to participate, including those with previous residencies or open-air rehearsals. All works that have previously had their debut or were shown completely anywhere in the country will be excluded. Article 8 – SELECTION CRITERIA Submitted projects will be selected at the incontestable discretion of the jury, composed by a board member of the municipality of Stregna, the artistic director of the Tinaos association, and a member for each of the partners of the project and other cultural operators from the territory. Winners will be announced on the project’s site. The project evaluation will be based on the criteria contained in the chart below. The maximum achievable score is 100. CRITERION SCORE Assesment of the artist/company CV 0 - 20 N° Under 35 members 0 - 5 Artistic contents of the project 0 - 30 Project’s international relevance 0 - 10 Project's level of innovation 0 - 15 Project’s promotion plan 0 - 20 Article 9 - REQUESTS TO THE ARTISTS In the residence period there will be activities aimed to get acquainted with the area and the artistic and cultural heritage of the Natisone Valleys. Artists in residence will be warmly encouraged to take part at roundtables, artistic events and field trips aimed at triggering a virtuous exchange between guests and local people. The organisation will provide, upon notice to the guest companies, a photographic and video documentation of some stages of the work. The selected projects will have to present a public rehearsal on September 15th or 16th 2017. All entities that will benefit from the artistic residence period are committed to insert in their show credits the caption: “con il sostegno di Valli del Natisone - Through Landscape 2017”.     SOCIOECONOMIC STRUCTURE OF THE SLOVENE POPULATION IN ITALY Ales Lokar and Lee Thomas Ethnic Structure of FPiuli-Venezia Giulia ~n Italy, the Slovenes live almost exclusively in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which is divided politically into four provinces. Ther are, from west to south-east, Pordenone, Udine (Viden), Gorizia (Gorica) and Trieste (Trst), named after the respective provincial capitals. The regional capital is Trieste, which is also the largest city, having approximately 300,000 inhabi­ tants. The provinces are subdivided into comuni, roughly corresponding to American counties. Data in this study are by comuni, since they are the smallest political divi­ sions for which population and socioeconomic data are available. 2 The region Friuli-Venezia Giulia is inhabited by four different ethnic groups: Italians, Friulians, Slo­ venes and Germans. Officially, however, the ethnic com­ position of the region is not clearly established, as the official Italian census, carried out at ten year inter­ vals, does not report data by ethnic groups. This is true for the region as a whole, except for the comuni of the Trieste province, where the last two censuses (1961, 1971) did include data on the Slovene population. For the other comuni of the region only estimates are avail­ able, based on the work of various researchers,3 but there are no official statistics. The members of the non-Italian groups do not accept the validity of the re­ sults of these investigations, nor do they believe the census data where those are available. Their argument is that the census data are biased for political and socio­ economic reasons, that Italians are the so-called "state nation" and are politically, economically and socially dominant in the region, while the other three groups may be considered as dominated minorities.

It explores the spatial fragmentation in the Slovenian settlement area in Italy and analyzes the socio-economic and demographic processes that exert influence on the minority. The work is based on the critical evaluation of the current status of research, of statistical data from the state censuses and results of own research on site. The Slovenian-language population in the entire region is currently estimated at about 46,000 people. The main settlement area is the eastern border region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which is characterized by different cultural and regional identities. While the Slovenian-speaking population of Friuli focuses more on its cultural and regional distinctions, the majority of the Slovenian-language group in Venezia Giulia considers itself a “national minority.” Keywords: national minority, border area, Slovenes, Italy Zusammenfassung: Die Studie untersucht die slowenischsprachige Minderheit in der norditalienischen autonomen Region Friaul-Julisch Venetien. Sie nimmt Bezug auf die räumliche Fragmentierung im slowenischen Siedlungsgebiet in Italien und analysiert jene sozio-ökonomischen und demographischen Prozesse Einfluss auf die Minderheit ausüben. Die Arbeit beruht auf der kritischen Auswertung des Forschungsstandes, offizieller statistischer Daten sowie eigenen Erhebungen vor Ort.     COMUNE DI TAIPANA ESERCIZIO FINANZIARIO 2018 RELAZIONE DELL’ORGANO ESECUTIVO Art. 151, comma 6, D.Lgs. 267/2000 CONTO CONSUNTIVO ESERCIZIO FINANZIARIO 2018 RELAZIONE ILLUSTRATIVA DELLA GIUNTA COMUNALE L’art. 151 del D.Lgs. 267/2000, comma 6°, prescrive che al rendiconto dei Comuni sia allegata una relazione della Giunta sulla gestione che esprime le valutazioni di efficacia dell'azione condotta sulla base dei risultati conseguiti. Anche l’art. 231 del D.Lgs. 267/2000 prescrive: “La relazione sulla gestione è un documento illustrativo della gestione dell'ente, nonché dei fatti di rilievo verificatisi dopo la chiusura dell'esercizio, contiene ogni eventuale informazione utile ad una migliore comprensione dei dati contabili, ed è predisposto secondo le modalità previste dall'art. 11, comma 6, del decreto legislativo 23 giugno 2011, n. 118, e successive modificazioni”. La presente relazione è quindi redatta per soddisfare il precetto legislativo, per fornire dati di ragguaglio sulla produzione dei servizi pubblici e per consentire una idonea valutazione della realizzazione delle previsioni di bilancio. Questo Comune al 31.12.2018 conta n. 588 abitanti residenti nel capoluogo e nelle frazioni di: Taipana, Debellis, Monteaperta, Montemaggiore, Prossenicco, Platischis, Cornappo, Ponte Sambo. Il Comune di TAIPANA si caratterizza per le modeste dimensioni geografiche e demografiche, per la montuosità del territorio e per la scarsità di insediamenti produttivi. Nel corso del 2018 il Comune di TAIPANA ha provveduto all’assunzione di due nuove figure. La prima, mediante procedura di mobilità, in sostituzione dell’addetto alle manutenzioni che ha raggiunto i limiti per la quiescenza. November 2012 Summary: Even recent academic studies consider the Italian Alps (with the exception of South Tyrol) still a huge out- migration and depopulation area. The present contribution, however, shows the new and remarkable phenomenon of in-migration. The study highlights the west-east difference in regard to the significance of the newcomers for the current structural change in peripheral Alpine regions: ensuing from the demographic turnaround in the French Alps starting in the mid-1980s, the process of amenity migration spread across the Italian Alps. The present study seeks to analyze its outcomes through a comparison of the Alpine border areas between Italy and Slovenia. The eastern part of the Friulian mountain region, particularly the border areas toward Slovenia, suffered the heaviest population losses in the Alps between WWII and 1990. It is therefore not surprising that here traditional spatial structures still continue to exist and in contrast to other demographic problem areas in the Italian Alps, e.g. the Cottian Alps, the population development has remained largely nega- tive, though in the meantime the phenomenon of amenity migration has reached these Friulian communities. The west-east proliferation of amenity migration has also extended onto the Slovenian side, but its effects are less apparent due to the weaker depopulation processes during the period of the Yugoslavian regime.
