The Congress will last four days and will include plenary and poster sessions, free communications, main and section symposia, company sponsored symposia, debates and Junior members sessions. We are proud to announce a Keynote Lecture delivered by Professor Ignacio Ansotegui, President of the World Allergy Organization. It is a great pleasure for us to welcome Professor Giovanni Passalacqua and Professor Rudolf Valenta—founders of Allergen Immunotherapy and Molecular Allergology. The Congress Program will also include Joint sessions of the GAACI with the World Allergy Organization (WAO), European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and a GAACI—INUNIMAI Medical University of Vienna Joint Symposium. The Program also includes the International School/Conference “Innovative Technologies in Clinical Immunology: From Immunodiagnostics to Personalized Targeted Immunotherapy and Immunorehabilitation”. This School/Con- ference is organized by the GAACI on the basis of a grant awarded by the Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Founda- tion. We are honored to welcome world famous scientists from the USA, UK, Russia, Spain, and Germany who will deliver talks within the framework of the School/Conference. We welcome attendees from various countries and extend our special greetings to the speakers of the Congress, the leading scientists who represent the World Allergy Organization (WAO), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the World Immunopathology Organization (WIPO), the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS), the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), the International Association of Asthmology (INTERASMA) and other international organizations and programs. However, it would be a great mistake to come to Tbilisi and not to learn the country and its traditions. Our event offers you a great opportunity to visit Georgia, the country famous for its hospitality, fabulous feasting traditions, ancient history and great cultural heritage. We believe that it is better to see once than to hear many times. Georgia has a very favorable geographic location. Mild subtropical climate, natural resources, glorious mountains, sunny seaside make Georgia a very attractive tourist site. One can ski in the mountains and then swim in the sea at the same day. There are numerous curative mineral springs, and the landscape, amazing in its diversity, is another valuable asset. There are palms, eucalyptuses and liana-entwined jungle of Colchis, the snowy mountain peaks; pine- and beach-clad slopes of the Caucasus ranges; the steppes of the Yori Plateau covered with beard grass; the orchards of Kartli and the world-famous vineyards of Kakheti, Imereti and Samegrelo and the alpine pastures of the upland regions of Svaneti, Tusheti and Khevsureti. Mountains and plateaus cover four-fifth of Georgia’s territory. Ridges of mountains divide the country into regions, each of which has a distinctive landscape and microclimate, and characteristic architecture, costumes, folklore, traditions and customs.
