Train to Teach to Think

London - Thursday 21st June

Coffee from 9.00 for a 9.27 start

Finishing 4.33

Laycock Professional Development Centre Laycock Street, , N1 1TH

Thank you for completing the sign-up process for the course. I’ll be in touch again with course materials, but this is just about logistics.

A map and travel details for the venue are on the next page.

Coffee will be served in the lounge downstairs from 9.00. Then we’ll move to the Conference Room, also on the ground floor, in time for a 9.27 start.

Why 9.27?

9.30 can mean 9.30. Or it can mean “half-past nine”. Which is If you have questions, large or much vaguer, much more “-ish.” small, about the course, email There’s nothing “-ish” about 9.27. It sends a signal that we can [email protected] expect each other to start on time. or ring 07843 555355 If you do have any transport problems or difficulties finding the venue on the day, if you call my mobile my assistant/sister Clare will answer and guide you in.

The course will finish at 4.33 but I won’t be rushing off, so there’s an opportunity for more questions and brain-picking afterwards.

Travelling up the evening before?

If you are looking for a place to stay nearby, I’ve opted for the Centre www.thehighburycentre.org

Its main clientele are missionaries and Christian workers, but it lets rooms to the general public as well. It’s reasonably priced and only a mile from the venue.

I anticipate having dinner at Iznik www.iznik.co.uk. It’s a carnivore-friendly Turkish restaurant which has a reasonable choice for vegetarians too. Do email me and I’d be delighted to add you to the table.
