Los trabajos extendidos fueron cuidadosa- mente seleccionados por el comité editorial y revisados por lo menos por dos revisores externos considerando su originalidad científica y la calidad técnica. El volumen contiene 15 artículos que abordan varios aspectos de los sistemas de con- trol, así como de agentes inteligentes. Por una parte, los sistemas basados en agentes inte- ligentes han permitido un mayor número de procesos automatizados. Particularmente en este volumen, se trata el estado del arte de los sistemas de recomendación asociados con tareas de búsqueda y recuperación de información; así como agentes estadísticos aplica- dos a sistemas e-learning para recomendaciones eficientes a estudiantes. En este mismo sentido, otro trabajo incluido utiliza los agentes inteligentes para la clasificación de los diferentes tipos de aprendizaje mediante el empleo de modelos de inferencia difusa. Por otra parte, el volumen incluye trabajos relacionados con el diseño e implementa- ción de sistemas de control inteligente. Entre los artículos publicados en este número se presentan investigaciones sobre el diseño de controladores basados en sistemas inmunes artificiales aplicados al agarre de objetos en robótica, un sistema de seguimiento de perso- nas automático por medio de robots aéreos no tripulados, el uso de controladores de re- chazo activo de perturbaciones para el desempeño de tareas de equilibrio en robots huma- noides, así como métodos de navegación en robots humanoides usando redes de Petri y lógica difusa. Los sistemas de control inteligente también son aplicados en técnicas de integración domótica, así como en invernaderos hidropónicos; mientras que se emplean técnicas de visión por computadora en robótica móvil. Desde el punto de vista de análisis y diseño, se incluyen artículos sobre estudios de pérdidas en semiconductores por control difuso de velocidad en motores, se comparan diferentes estrategias de controladores clási- cos, no lineales e inteligentes para el problema de regularización; se describen regulado- res-estabilizadores implementados mediante controladores neuro-difusos en multi- máquinas y se aplican controladores PID mediante algoritmos genéticos en la regulación de voltaje en sistemas multicélulas. Finalmente, se incluye un trabajo sobre ecuaciones inversas de filtros para la reconstrucción perfecta, que son útiles en técnicas empleadas en los sistemas de control, entre otros.     Many Faced Robot - Design and Manufacturing of a Parametric, Modular and Open Source Robot Head Metodi Netzev1, Quentin Houbre1, Eetu Airaksinen1, Alexandre Angleraud1 and Roel Pieters1 Abstract— Robots developed for social interaction and care show great promise as a tool to assist people. While the functionality and capability of such robots is crucial in their acceptance, the visual appearance should not be underesti- mated. Current designs of social robots typically can not be altered and remain the same throughout the life-cycle of the robot. Moreover, customization to different end-users is rarely taken into account and often alterations are strictly prohibited due to the closed-source designs of the manufacturer. The current trend of low-cost manufacturing (3D printing) and open-source technology, however, open up new opportunities for third parties to be involved in the design process. In this work, we propose a development platform based on FreeCAD that offers a parametric, modular and open-source design tool specifically aimed at robot heads. III Abstract An anthropomorphic arm, is a programmable structure with functions similar to those of a human arm. These arms can be used to perform a variety of tasks with great accuracy. The first step in the robotic arm design is developing a proper mathematical model for the motion of the mechanism. This work of thesis, which lies within the PARLOMA framework, focuses on the kinematic aspect of an anthropomorphic arm developed to convey information through the exchange of tactile sign languages. There is also enough considerations given to model the mechanical system of a robotic finger.

Design/methodology/approach – The proposed natural teaching paradigm is used to telemanipulate a life-size humanoid robot in response to a complicated working scenario. First, a vision sensor is used to project mission scenes onto virtual reality glasses for human-in-the-loop reactions. Second, motion capture system is established to retarget eye-body synergic movements to a skeletal model. Third, real-time data transfer is realized throughpublish- subscribe messaging mechanism in robot operating system. Next, joint angles are computed through a fast mapping algorithm and sent to a slave controller through a serial port. Finally, visualization terminals render it convenient to make comparisons between two motion systems. Findings – Experimentation in various industrial mission scenes, such as approaching flanges, shows the numerous advantages brought by natural teaching, including being real-time, high accuracy, repeatability and dexterity.

It needs to understand and show emotions, has a chat box, a memory and also a decision-making process. However, more than that, it needs to recognize objects and be able to grasp them in a human way. To become an intimate companion, social robots need to behave the same way as real humans in all areas and understand real situations in order they can react properly. In this chapter, we describe our ongoing research on social robotics. It includes the making of artic- ulated hands of Nadine Robot, the recognition of objects and their signification, as well as how to grasp them in a human way.
