2014-2015 SCHOOL OF GRAMMAR Uniform Standards for Boys Tops Buttoned to one below top. Must be tucked in and have collar at all times. Sweaters Approved uniform shirt must be worn underneath at all times. Fleece Approved uniform shirt must be worn underneath at all times. Hoods must be worn off-the-head indoors. Pants and Shorts Must come within one inch of natural waist. Long pants should be below ankle. Shorts are to be knee-length. Belts Should not dangle. Black only, plain in color and design. Shoes Sneakers, oxfords or loafer shoes only. Black only. No contrasting colors, plain in color and design. No large corporate, sports team, TV or other organization or media logos or designs. Clean and comfortable, closed toe, closed heel. No sandals, Crocs, moccasins or boots. Shoes must remain snug and secure at all times. One inch heel or lower. Undergarments Must not be visible. Solid white undershirts are recommended; no other colors, prints or designs are permitted. Jewelry Any jewelry which might create safety hazard or distraction should not be worn. Hair Hair must be clean and neat. Only natural colors are allowed. Hair styling or coloring arrangements which are disruptive or distracting are not permissible. Other No visible tattoos, no piercing, no hats, no scarves, no bandanas indoors. Note: Any tattoos acquired before admission to MCA will be dealt with on and individual basis by the Principal. Colognes, Parfums and pungent substances which may cause distraction or allergic reactions are not permitted. Sun Protection Items such as hats and sunglasses may be worn only when outdoors. Outerwear All outerwear and bags are to be plain in color and design. No blatant advertising. No large corporate, sports team, TV or other organization or media logos or designs.
