Fernando’s global performances span more than 26 countries in which he has won critical acclaim. In 2006, he was invited to coach with Maestro Giancarlo Chiaramello, conductor for the late Luciano Pavarotti in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Maestro said of Fernando, “I have heard very few voices like yours.” August 2008, Fernando recorded his first CD - Dare to Live – and went on to sing for some 50,000 guests of Spiritual Master Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj in Haridwar, India. In May, 2010, Fernando traveled to Canada to debut his orchestral pops concert with The Saskatoon Symphony. He has since performed with Florida’s Orlando Philharmonic, The Sarasota Orchestra, and more recently, as David Foster’s guest with The National Symphony at The John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. Each concert has been met with rave reviews from both his presenters and the media. Fernando just completed a performance in Italy as a special guest of Andrea Bocelli August 12 and has returned to continue recording his latest CD. His show includes many of the favorite songs of: Queen, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Journey, Classical John Denver sung in his own unique style. All of these accomplishments are just the beginning! Fernando is a great talent. His heart surrounds each song that he performs. His charisma warmly embraces his audiences. His music uplifts the soul - and an evening spent listening to him becomes a very memorable experience.

THE CANADIAN PRESS — OTTAWA

A prestigious group of former world leaders and experts is sounding the alarm about a water crisis that threatens peace, political stability and economic development around the globe. The InterAction Council has issued a new report warning that the future impact of water scarcity could be devastating. The report comes as foreign ministers from a number of countries prepare for a special discussion of the water crisis later this month on the margins of the UN General Assembly. The report doesn’t call for specific action by the UN. But former Canadian prime minister Jean Chretien, who co-chairs the council, says the group is trying to raise awareness of the urgency of the crisis in hopes that the Security Council will recognize water as a top security concern facing the planet. “We want to alert the Security Council that there’s a major problem,” Chretien told reporters on a teleconference call Monday. The union disagreed, with general counsel Don Zavelo saying in a statement that he felt it would not be permitted. According to Fehr, the NHL then withdrew its request. All of this has been playing out while the league and players continue to have no bargaining sessions scheduled before the current CBA expires at 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday. The league has said it will enact a lockout if that deadline passes without an agreement. The union also plans to file an application to the Quebec Labour Board this week in an effort to keep Montreal Canadiens players from being locked out. In Quebec, the NHLPA isn’t recognized as a certified union, which it believes makes a lockout unlawful. Even though the disputes in Alberta and Quebec would affect just three of 30 NHL teams, Habs defenceman Josh Gorges expressed hope that it would catch the attention of every owner. “I think even though it’s only three teams that may be involved in this, it may put pressure on other teams to say ’You know what, these guy are getting ready, they’re practising, they’re getting themselves ready to play — maybe we should have our players doing the same sort of thing,”’ Gorges said on a conference call. “It’s unfortunate that it’s not the same laws in every city but I think it gives us an Treat your senses to an opportunity to put pressure on the owners to try to get a deal done so that other teams can join awesome FREE HP laptop. us and we can start playing on time.” The wheels have already been set in motion for the NHL to declare a work stoppage once the ™ CBA expires this weekend.
