Ethiraj and T. Gokulakrishnan participated in Project Contest SCIMIT’13 held at Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology on 28th February 2013 S. Ethiraj and T. Gokulakrishnan presented a paper titled “Eliminating the effects of fog and rain attenuation for multiplexed data” in National Conference on Advanced Communication & Computing Techniques (NCACCT’13) held at Sri Sairam Engineering College on 18.03.2013 and 19.03.2013 The project entitled, “ Multiplexed Data Transmission through Free Space Optics” done by S.Ethiraj and T.Gokulakrishnan, Final year students under the guidance of Mr.M.Baskaran, A.P has won the winners title phase-1 of TI Analog Design contest 2012-13 held as part of Texas Instruments University Program. Vivetha .V of IV year ECE won NOKIA INDIAFEST 2013 a national level cultural fest held at Goa, with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-& gift voucher worth Rs. 80,000/-. Hemavinotheni. G of III year ECE have participated in 13 Nationals representing Tamil Nadu for softball championship since 2013 2012 Event – Painting at Anna University for “World Aids Day” on 30.11.12. S. Karthika - I-ECE-2 has won third prize in painting Vivetha.V of ECE III year Came as Runner up in CAMPUSJIVE 2012 an inter collegiate dance competition and received prize worth Rs, 1, 00,000/-. Vivetha.V of ECE III year won 2nd place in SHOCK 2012 – a professional western dance competition. D.Santhosh of III year ECE won 1st prize in Circuit Debugging in a National level Symposium held at Prathyusha Institute of Tech. Pankaj Kumar Tiwari and G.Muthukrishnan of III year ECE won 1st prize in Technical Spell- National level Symposium at Velammal Engg. College Pankaj Kumar Tiwari and G.Muthukrishnan of III year ECE won 1st prize Quiz- National level Symposium at Velammal Engg. College 2011 SAISHARAN P of II year ECE has won AIRTEL SUPER SINGER -TITLE (2011-2012) conducted by Vijay TV. Hemavinotheni.
