Lexus is 250 manual transmission Continue If you knew about any of them, your car knowledge is strong! We all know that the manual gearbox is dying out on the main cars. There are several cars on the market that offer a guide as an option, and even fewer that don't come with the option of self-switching gear. Most manual gearboxes are reserved for sports and expensive models, but they can often be found at the other end of the spectrum on the most basic models. We made a list of five cars that offered a manual transmission that no one knew about. Maybe that's why no one ordered them, or maybe they just aren't very good. The Porsche Mechanical Gearbox is extremely important for Porsche models such as the 911 and 718, but not as much for an SUV as the Cayenne. Few buyers of family SUVs, such as the Cayenne, care about having a guide, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from offering it. The manual version was only available on the Cayenne base with a 3.6-liter V6 that produced 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The manual model can hit 60 mfin 7.5 seconds, 0.5 seconds faster than the eight-car Tiptronic. Unfortunately, the Turbo never had a manual version, but the original Cayenne GTS had the option of a six-speed manual transmission with a 405-hp V8. The Lexus Lexus IS has always been a competitor to the BMW 3 Series, which has never received the same attention as German competitors like the Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the first generation IS300 IS lost its manual transmission. Or not? Lexus actually continued to offer IS with a six- speed manual transmission, but only on the basis of the RWD IS250. The IS250 was powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine with a capacity of only 205 hp, which was less than competitors. If Lexus offered a transmission on more powerful models IS350 or IS-F, perhaps more enthusiasts would take it. Instead, only one of the 34,719 IS250 models had a manual transmission. The Mercedes C-Class has a very similar history with the Lexus IS. It has the option of a six-speed manual instead of a seven-speed automatic that almost all ordered. However, the manual was only available on the basis of the C300. The C300 was powered by a 3.0- liter V6 with 228 hp, so it was a little faster than the IS250. However, the more powerful models of the C350 and C63 AMG were, unfortunately, only automatic. We had the opportunity to drive one of these manual C300s once and expected it to be fantastic. Unfortunately, it just felt pretty slow and uninsved. It wasn't as good as the automatic AMG model. It's a pity we've never seen how awesome the C63 can be with a manual transmission. Nissan We always lament what Nissan took once durable and turned it into a CVT-driven minivan alternative. While The Pathfinder may never be what it once was, Nissan made up for it with the Xterra. Everyone loves the Toyota 4Runner as an SUV without roads, but Xterra was also pretty impressive. The latest Xterra model is bordered by a 4.0-liter V6 with a capacity of 261 hp. Most Xterras came with a five-speed automatic transmission, but some came with a six-speed manual transmission. We believe that the tame Xterra is one of the best cars for off-road enthusiasts, and may even be a competitor to the Jeep Wrangler. Too bad Nissan stopped it in 2015 for emissions reasons. The latest car on this California Ferrari list. But everyone knows that in every review of California roads, he mentions a seven-track dual-clutch transmission right? Well, Ferrari made an offer of a car with a closed six-speed manual transmission if you asked nicely. Rumor has it that only a handful of Californians have been ordered with guidance, making them extremely rare. One example has already sold for more than its original sticker price. Sold by Lexus since 2005, the line includes several V6 gasoline models, a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe convertible body styles. Additional sedan models are also equipped with a range of four diesel powertrains, and the F version, the IS F, has a V8 engine. The pre-sale of the second-generation IS model was first shown in 2005 at the Motor Show in at the 2005 New York Motor Show. The second generation was only available as a sedan until the two-door coupe convertible options debuted in 2008. IS is built on a shortened version of the rear-wheel-drive mid-size platform, presented for the third generation Lexus GS, as well as the Toyota Crown and Toyota Mark X used in the Japanese market. however, the convertible coupe continued to be sold until 2014. A history of development after the start of sales of the XE10 in the U.S. in 2000, development began on its successor, the XE20 under the leadership of Chief Engineer Suguya Fukusato in 2001. The design work was done under Kengo Matsumoto for 2 years from 2002 to the end of 2003, when the final conceptual design of Hiroyuki Tada using the new corporate theme of the L-finesse style was chosen. From 2003 to the first half of 2004, the conceptual design was refined into the specification of the production design, which was then approved by the executive board. Design patents were filed in September 2004 in Japan, February 18, 2005 in Europe and February 25, 2005 with the U.S. Patent Office when the development was completed in early 2005. The exterior and internal 2008 Lexus IS 250 (GSE20; USA) Second Generation Lexus IS was the second debut of the new L-finesse lexus design philosophy on the production car after the premiere of the 2006 Lexus GS sedan. The new IS design featured smoother, coupe-like contours, a fastback profile, and a repeated arrowhead motif in the front fascia and side windows based on the Japanese concept of kirikaeshi, citing angular movements. The front design resembled an earlier Lexus LF-C concept. Compared to its predecessor, the second generation IS was 3.5 inches (89 mm) larger and nearly 3 inches (76 mm) wider, mainly due to the 2.3 inch (58 mm) wheeled base stretch. The grille was installed at a lower level than the headlights. The new IS body led to a figure of 0.28 cd. 2007 Lexus IS 350 interior (GSE21; Japan) The second generation IS interior features leather seats, a lightsaber-like electroluminescent lighting display tool and LED accents of interior lighting, 10-way (including lumbar) driver and front passenger seat power, as well as a selection of faux-metal or extra Bird's Eye wood-decoration Yamaha's maple trim. The interior design has also brought out elements from Japanese concepts, including hazushi, where the object retains individuality by being part of a larger whole, as typical of the side vents. Other available interior features include perforated leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, power steering wheel, lunar hatch, electrochromic side-view mirrors, powered rear solar left shape and aluminum scuff plates. The 2008 Lexus IS 250 (GSE20; Europe) Lexus IS has standard dual front airbags, front-row knee airbags, front airbags and rear side curtains, and front torso airbags. The new IS also debuted the last two-camera V-shaped front passenger airbag of its manufacturer. The IS 250 was originally equipped with a Vehicle Stability Control System (VSC), while the IS 350 used a more advanced VDIM system that responds more quickly with less intrusive work. The Pre-Collision (PCS) system is the first offered in the initial luxury sedan market segment. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash test results in 2008 rated IS a maximum of five stars in the category of side driver and rollover, and four stars in the frontal driver, front passenger, and side rear passenger categories.

While we haven’t been west of the Rockies since River- side International Raceway in 1968, it’s hard to believe it will be that long before we return again. The question on everyone’s mind, even more than usual, is who is going to win? Are there hidden gems on the west coast who may be making their first Runoffs appearance that will make a name for themselves on the national stage, or will the traditional contenders learn a new track quickly enough to hold their titles? My guess is that we’ll see some of each.

The consumer tire strategy in our recently announced new medium-term management plan, Yokohama Transformation 2023 (YX2023), aims to maximize the sales ratios of high-value-added YOKOHAMA tire brands, namely the global flagship ADVAN brand, the GEOLANDAR brand of tires for SUVs and pickup trucks, and various winter tires. YX2023 positions participation in motorsports activities as crucial to our effort to develop new tire technologies that will further strengthen the ADVAN and GEOLANDAR brands. Yokohama Rubber therefore will again participate in a wide variety of motorsports events in Japan and around the globe, from top-category races to grassroots races. Event reports and results will be posted on Yokohama Rubber’s motorsports website as well various SNS specializing in motorsports topics. This release briefly introduces some of the main events Yokohama Rubber will be participating in this year. ■ GT/Touring Car Races <SUPER GT> SUPER GT races are contested in two classes, GT500 and GT300. GT500 is dominated by works teams from major automakers while GT300 teams tend to be more varied and individualistic. GT500 machines must meet certain specifications. GT300 races, however, are open to a variety of cars made in Japan and overseas. The GT300 machines can broadly be divided into three types: (1) automakers’ production cars that meet the international FIA GT3 specifications, (2) unique JAF-GT machines, and (3) the so-called “Mother Chassis" group of machines.
