The manual model can hit 60 mfin 7.5 seconds, 0.5 seconds faster than the eight-car Tiptronic. Unfortunately, the Turbo never had a manual version, but the original Cayenne GTS had the option of a six-speed manual transmission with a 405-hp V8. The Lexus Lexus IS has always been a competitor to the BMW 3 Series, which has never received the same attention as German competitors like the Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the first generation IS300 IS lost its manual transmission. Or not? The Mercedes C-Class has a very similar history with the Lexus IS. It has the option of a six-speed manual instead of a seven-speed automatic that almost all ordered. However, the manual was only available on the basis of the C300. The C300 was powered by a 3.0- liter V6 with 228 hp, so it was a little faster than the IS250. However, the more powerful models of the C350 and C63 AMG were, unfortunately, only automatic. We had the opportunity to drive one of these manual C300s once and expected it to be fantastic. Unfortunately, it just felt pretty slow and uninsved. It wasn't as good as the automatic AMG model. It's a pity we've never seen how awesome the C63 can be with a manual transmission. Most Xterras came with a five-speed automatic transmission, but some came with a six-speed manual transmission. We believe that the tame Xterra is one of the best cars for off-road enthusiasts, and may even be a competitor to the Jeep Wrangler. Too bad Nissan stopped it in 2015 for emissions reasons. Sold by Lexus since 2005, the line includes several V6 gasoline models, a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe convertible body styles.
