About the Home menu You can listen to Rhapsody Channels transferred from Best Buy Digital Music Store to the player. First you need to install Best Buy Digital Music Store from the supplied CD-ROM onto your computer, and then follow the on-screen instructions to create your account for Rhapsody membership. For details about usage or support of the software, refer to the following web site: http://www.bestbuy.com/digitalmusic
When you connect Best Buy Digital Music Store and transfer Rhapsody Channels to the player, (Clock Display) on the Home menu changes to (Rhapsody Channels).
Clock Display Rhapsody Channels
Hints Even if (Clock Display) is not displayed in the Home menu, you can select “Clock Display” from the option menu. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button on the Home menu or the “Now Playing” screen and select “Clock Display” from the option menu.

Best Buy Digital Music Store With the Best Buy Digital Music Store, you can purchase individual songs, and/ or sign up for a membership to create a subscription account. Songs that are purchased, subscribed to, or ripped from CDs using this software can be transferred to your player. However, to transfer purchased or subscription songs, you need to apply for a membership. Listening to Rhapsody Channels You can listen to Rhapsody Channels transferred from Best Buy Digital Music Store to the player. Rhapsody Channels BACK/HOME button 5-way button
Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears.
Press the /// button to select (Rhapsody Channels), and then press the button to confirm. The Rhapsody Channel list screen appears.
Press the /// button to select a channel, and then press the button to confirm. The channel you selected starts to play back and the playback of songs continues in order.
About the subscription indicator During song playback, the subscription indicator appears in the upper right of the “Now Playing” screen. Subscription indicator
indicates free trial membership.* indicates more than 8 days remain of subscription. indicates less than 7 days remain of subscription. indicates less than 2 days remain of subscription. indicates your subscription is expired. * The indicated number shows days remaining of your trial membership.

Displaying artist information You can display the artist information by pressing the OPTION/PWR OFF button and selecting “Artist Information” on the “Now Playing” screen.
Hints The Rhapsody Channel list screen can be also displayed by selecting (Music Library) in step , and then selecting “Rhapsody Channels.” As the days pass and your subscription expiration gets near, a notice appears in the display when the player turns on. When the message appears, follow the instructions to renew your license. You can add the currently playing song on a Rhapsody Channel to the “Music Library” from the option menu. You can register songs in the wish list from the “Now Playing” screen. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button, and then select “Add to Wishlist” from the option menu. You can also remove songs from the wish list from the “Now Playing” screen. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button, and select “Remove from Wishlist” from the option menu. Songs registered in the wish list can be confirmed with the Best Buy Digital Music Store.
Notes When playing back a Rhapsody Channel, you cannot set the play mode or playback range from the option menu on the “Now Playing” screen. Rhapsody Channels do not have song lists. The currently playing song/total number of songs is not displayed on the “Now Playing” screen.

Adding songs transferred from Rhapsody Channels to the “Music Library” You can add songs transferred from Rhapsody Channels to the “Music Library.” When the player is connected to Rhapsody service, songs transferred from Rhapsody Channels, once played back, will be deleted on the player. However, the songs added from Rhapsody Channels to the “Music Library” can be searched from “Music Library” or managed just like songs transferred from other than Rhapsody Channels.
Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button and select “Add to Library” on the “Now Playing” screen.
The message asking if you want to add the currently playing song to the “Music Library” appears.
Press the /// button to select “Yes,” and then press the button to confirm. The song is added to the “Music Library.”
Hint The song added to the “Music Library” is displayed with the icon in the “Now Playing” screen.

Displaying the Account Information You can see information such as user ID, etc., to renew your subscription.

Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears.
Press the /// button to select (Settings), and then press the button to confirm.
Press the /// button to select “Common Settings,” and then press the button to confirm. The list of “Common Settings” options appears.
Press the /// button to select “Account Information,” and then press the button to confirm. The “Account Information” screen appears.
