Ambient Requirements Hoistway Internal Temperature Within 5℃~ 40℃ Relative Humidity The relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50% if the highest temperature of 40℃ is reached. Comparatively, if the temperature is lower, the relative humidity can be higher. If the monthly average low temperature during the most humid month is no more than 25℃, then the highest relative humidity of that month shall not exceed 90%. Hoistway The structure of the elevator hoistway shall be solid, subjected to fire-proofing treatment and provided with required holes for relevant equipment. The plane dimension of the hoistway is the minimum size determined with plumbing.
