This new experience allows pupils to discover the essentials of Olympism from the ancient to the modern-day Games. The Olympic rings, the torch relay, the sports programme, the athletes: each stage combines information and games to make for a fun learning experience. Delve into the visual universe of the Olympic Games with your class and discover some of the stand-out graphical identifies from past editions.

WE ARE OLYMPIANS, AND YOU? (FROM 30 APRIL 2019 TO 13 MARCH 2020)

Ahead of the Winter 2020, explore the ways that the Olympic spirit has manifested itself over time, embodied by the athletes and driven by the Olympic Games and sport. Self-knowledge, fair play, team spirit, stress management – discover how the Olympic values can be applied on a daily basis to foster peaceful coexistence. (TO CHOOSE) – 30 MINUTES

CAP OFF YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH A WORKSHOP! ONE OF OUR ACTIVITY LEADERS WILL HOST A 30-MINUTE SESSION THAT TAKES A FUN LOOK AT AN OLYMPIC TOPIC AND IS TAILORED TO THE AGE OF YOUR PUPILS.

DESTINATION OLYMPIA

The children learn about the origins of the Olympic Games. They compare the sports equipment of the ancient athletes with the equipment used today and get a taste of the disciplines practised in Antiquity.

DESIGN YOUR GAMES (UNTIL 13 MARCH 2020)

After learning about historical Olympic posters, the pupils receive a set of imaginary specifications. Using the graphical elements, they will design a poster using a tablet and convey their vision of Lausanne 2020.

CHAT CHALLENGE (FROM 30 APRIL 2019 TO 13 MARCH 2020)

In parallel with the exhibition on the Olympic values, pupils are invited to take part in a multimedia workshop to explore the concepts of respect, friendship, fair play and team spirit. TIMETABLE CLOAKROOM Monday – Friday, Free-of-charge, from May to October unsupervised cloakroom. Tuesday – Friday, Lockers, subject to availability. from November to April Contact the Welcome Desk for details. RESERVATIONS Groups are required to make PRICES a reservation.
