NY Federation Dinner Dance Honors Kitsios, Pan Gregorians

Surrounded by the evening’s honorees and Federation officials, Elias Tsekerides, its president, holds the NY State legislature’s Greek Heritage Day proclamation at the Federation’s Greek Independence Day Dinner Dance at Terrace on the Park, where the Pan- Gregorian Enterprises of NY and Long Island and George Kitsios were honored. The evening’s Master of Ceremonies was Nancy Biska, Executive Secretary of the Parade Committee, and the guests were welcomed by George Pantelides, the event Chairman, and Petros Galatoulas, the 2014 Parade Chairman. The honorees were introduced by Athanasios Aronis. Kitsios is President of the Greek Children’s Fund and President Emeritus of the Greek American Homeowners Association of Astoria. He earned degrees in architecture CCNY and city planning at Columbia University and is the owner of Global City Realty. The Pan-Gregorians were established as a food industry cooperative in 1989, but they also focus on charitable activities in New York State.
