Our annual summer carnival was a great week with many successful events, and was enjoyed by many in the village. The weather was also on our side for the week, with many great days of weather. Each day throughout the week there was a different event, leading up to Saturday's grand carnival procession. The procession was the first Devon carnival of the season, and therefore was the first reveal of our 2019 float, entitled “sunshine after the rain.'' Many other carnival clubs and villagers took part in the procession, which made it a very good evening! The club has since been out all over south Devon each Saturday, taking part in many other carnivals, including Newton Abbot, Chudleigh, Kingsbridge, Paignton, Teignmouth, Bovey Tracey and Dawlish.
