How the World Is, and Has Been Controlled by the Same Families for Millennia
How the World is, and has been controlled by the same Families for Millennia These are the Secret Elite Families that rule the world from behind the scenes and what WE can do to change society for the better Let us begin with a quick look at the current (as of May 2015) British Prime Minister David Cameron; Aristocracy and politics Cameron descends from King William IV and his mistress Dorothea Jordan through their illegitimate daughter Lady Elizabeth FitzClarence to the fifth female generation Enid Agnes Maud Levita. His father's maternal grandmother, Stephanie Levita (née Cooper) was the daughter of Sir Alfred Cooper and Lady Agnes Duff (sister of Alexander Duff, 1st Duke of Fife) and a sister of Duff Cooper, 1st Viscount Norwich GCMG DSO PC, the Conservative statesman and author. His paternal grandmother, Enid Levita, who married secondly in 1961 a younger son of the 1st Baron Manton, was the daughter of Arthur Levita and niece of Sir Cecil Levita KCVO CBE, Chairman of London County Council in 1928. Through the Mantons, Cameron also has kinship with the 3rd Baron Hesketh KBE PC, Conservative Chief Whip in the House of Lords 1991–93. Cameron's maternal grandfather was Sir William Mount, 2nd Baronet, an army officer and the High Sheriff of Berkshire, and Cameron's maternal great-grandfather was Sir William Mount Bt CBE, Conservative MP for Newbury 1910–1922. Lady Ida Feilding, Cameron's great-great grandmother, was third daughter of William Feilding, Earl of Denbigh and Desmond GCH PC, a courtier and Gentleman of the Bedchamber. -
Wessex and the Reign of Edmund Ii Ironside
Chapter 16 Wessex and the Reign of Edmund ii Ironside David McDermott Edmund Ironside, the eldest surviving son of Æthelred ii (‘the Unready’), is an often overlooked political figure. This results primarily from the brevity of his reign, which lasted approximately seven months, from 23 April to 30 November 1016. It could also be said that Edmund’s legacy compares unfavourably with those of his forebears. Unlike other Anglo-Saxon Kings of England whose lon- ger reigns and periods of uninterrupted peace gave them opportunities to leg- islate, renovate the currency or reform the Church, Edmund’s brief rule was dominated by the need to quell initial domestic opposition to his rule, and prevent a determined foreign adversary seizing the throne. Edmund conduct- ed his kingship under demanding circumstances and for his resolute, indefati- gable and mostly successful resistance to Cnut, his career deserves to be dis- cussed and his successes acknowledged. Before discussing the importance of Wessex for Edmund Ironside, it is con- structive, at this stage, to clarify what is meant by ‘Wessex’. It is also fitting to use the definition of the region provided by Barbara Yorke. The core shires of Wessex may be reliably regarded as Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berk- shire and Hampshire (including the Isle of Wight).1 Following the victory of the West Saxon King Ecgbert at the battle of Ellendun (Wroughton, Wilts.) in 835, the borders of Wessex expanded, with the counties of Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Essex passing from Mercian to West Saxon control.2 Wessex was not the only region with which Edmund was associated, and nor was he the only king from the royal House of Wessex with connections to other regions. -

Cornelius van Niels proposed that this substance may have been produced as a byproduct of carbon fixing by purple and green bacteria. This substance is found sporadically in the vadose zone. When this substance is involved, a volcanic eruption can be “phreatic.” Large-scale movement of this substance is facilitated by thermohaline circulation. When it is removed from belowground, land subsidence can result, as can sinkholes. For 10 points, name this substance whose “fresh” type is contained in aquifers. ANSWER: water [or H2O; accept various types of water, such as fresh water ; prompt on steam ] 2. Dong Fuxiang’s army of ten thousand Muslims from Gansu participated in this event, which saw the killing of missionaries in the Taiyuan Massacre. The Eight-Nation Alliance was formed to stop this event, which began in part due to resentment against the Western “spheres of influence” granted by the Unequal Treaties and the Open Door policy. The Dowager Empress voiced support for this movement, which arose in 1898 and lasted until 1901. For 10 points, name this Chinese anti-foreigner rebellion led by the Society of Righteous and Harmonious Fists. ANSWER: the Boxer Rebellion [or Boxers ; or Righteous Harmony Movement before “Righteous”; or Society of Righteous and Harmonious Fists before mentioned; or Yihetuan Movement] 3. -

Contextual Information Timelines and Family Trees Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits 16 March – 14 July 2019
16 March — 14 July 2019 British Royal Portraits Exhibition organised by the National Portrait Gallery, London Contextual Information Timelines and Family Trees Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits 16 March – 14 July 2019 Tudors to Windsors traces the history of the British monarchy through the outstanding collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London. This exhibition highlights major events in British (and world) history from the sixteenth century to the present, examining the ways in which royal portraits were impacted by both the personalities of individual monarchs and wider historical change. Presenting some of the most significant royal portraits, the exhibition will explore five royal dynasties: the Tudors, the Stuarts, the Georgians, the Victorians and the Windsors shedding light on key figures and important historical moments. This exhibition also offers insight into the development of British art including works by the most important artists to have worked in Britain, from Sir Peter Lely and Sir Godfrey Kneller to Cecil Beaton and Annie Leibovitz. 2 UK WORLDWIDE 1485 Henry Tudor defeats Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field, becoming King Henry VII The Tudors and founding the Tudor dynasty 1492 An expedition led by Italian explorer Christopher Columbus encounters the Americas 1509 while searching for a Western passage to Asia Henry VII dies and is succeeded Introduction by King Henry VIII 1510 The Inca abandon the settlement of Machu Picchu in modern day Peru Between 1485 and 1603, England was ruled by 1517 Martin Luther nails his 95 theses to the five Tudor monarchs. A Place for Us to Dream
A Place For Us To Dream Musik | Porträt: Placebo zum 20. Von MONA KAMPE »As an artist, you want your venue to be filled with people having a good time. That’s what you live for. It’s the kind of energy that feeds your soul. -
