This year it is ten years since I was told that my chronic myeloid leukaemia was in remission and since then I have dedicated my me to helping more people survive blood cancer. By suppor ng London 2 Paris: Inspiring the Revolu on you can help the 30,000 people who are being diagnosed with blood cancer every year in this country.
I owe my life to Professor Charlie Craddock and his team of clinicians who operate in the Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and I now want to raise money to support them as I know it will help save the lives of others.

Founded in 2003 by Professor Charlie Craddock, Cure Leukaemia helps to bring pioneering drug and transplant treatments to blood cancer pa ents throughout the Midlands. The charity helps finance the world class Centre for Clinical Haematology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, to fund life-saving clinical trials to treat pa ents with blood cancer who have exhausted standard treatment op ons. To date, Cure Leukaemia has helped to treat over 4000 pa ents by leveraging over £23m worth of revolu onary drugs and funding crucial research nurses to administer these trials.

In the summer of 2014 the ‘Birmingham, let’s cure leukaemia’ campaign in collabora on with the University of Birmingham with the aim to help the city find a cure for all blood cancers within the next 30 years.
The collabora on was launched to raise funds to support University of Birmingham researcher and co-founder of Cure Leukaemia, Professor Charlie Craddock and his teams based in the Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and across the West Midlands, to con nue their work to deliver ground-breaking new therapies to leukaemia pa ents across the region.
