Due palchi immersi nel verde dell'Idroscalo e alcune tra le band a capo della scena deathcore, metalcore e djent mondiale, tra cui Asking Alexandria, Bury Tomorrow, Being As An Ocean e SHVPES. ASKING ALEXANDRIA, la band inglese capitanata da Danny Worsnop & Ben Bruce, sarà l'headliner della giornata. I cinque artisti di York saranno in Europa per un tour estivo che li vedrà esibirsi nei più importanti festival europei in cui la band presenterà i pezzi del loro ultimo ononimo album uscito qualche mese fa sotto Sumerian Records, insieme a tutte le hit che hanno fatto la storia della loro carriera. I BURY TOMORROW sono una band inglese di spicco, fondata dai fratelli Winter Bates. Propongono un metalcore melodico, senza troppi fronzoli, con richiami ai Parkway Drive e a band come Killswitch Engage, Memphis May Fire e Miss May. Gli americani BEING AS AN OCEAN sono considerati trai nomi più rappresentativi della nuova ondata musicale, definita da molti "melodic hardcore", con un sound a cavallo tra l'emo, lo spoken words e le sonorità più alternative. PREPOSISI DALAM ALBUM STAND UP AND SCREAM KARYA ASKING ALEXANDRIA J U R N A L Diajukan Sebagai Salah Satu Persyaratan Untuk Mencapai Gelar Sarjana Sastra OLEH : BILLY B. LEMPAS 100912035 SASTRA INGGRIS UNIVERSITAS SAM RATULANGI FAKULTAS ILMU BUDAYA MANADO 2016 ABSTRACT This study is an attempt to find out the forms and analyze the meaning of prepositions in the Album Stand Up and Scream by Asking Alexandria. The data were analyzed based on the theories of Quirk Randolph (1985) and Curme (1986). The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data of prepositions were taken from the lyrics in the Album Stand Up and Scream by Asking Alexandria. The result of this study shows that there are 5 forms of prepositions found in the 13 songs in the album based on the theory of Quirk (1985) simple preposition, compound preposition, complex preposition, marginal preposition, inflectional preposition. Based on the theory of Curme (1986), there are 13 meanings of preposition found in the Album Stand Up and Scream by Asking Alexandria. The meaning of preposition refer to place, time, purpose or target, source or origin, cause or reason, way, tool, inclusion, nature, ownership or possession, amount, size, conquest. The data were analyzed based on the theories of Coghill (2003: 114) and McCarthy and O‟Dell (2007: 6). The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data of two-word verbs were taken from the lyrics in the album Stand Up and Scream by Asking Alexandria. The result of this study shows that there are 61 of two-word verbs found in the 15 songs, there are categorized into 3 forms based on the theory of Coghill (2003: 114) Transitive separable two-word verbs (there are 43 forms), Transitive inseparable two-word verbs (there are 14 forms) and Intransitive two-word verbs (there are 4 forms). Based on the theory of Randall (1982: 330), each two-word verbs has it‟s own means. Keywords: Two-word verbs, Transitive & intransitive phrasal verbs, Asking Alexandria. Lange wurde gemunkelt, wer wohl der Nachfolger sein wird und bald wurde Denis Shaforostov zur neuen Stimme der britischen Metalcoreband ernannt. Nun wurde gestern ein erster Song namens „I Won´t Give In“ veröffentlicht – der erste Track mit Shaforostov am Mikrofon. "An alle meine Freunde und Fans: Ich möchte euch wissen lassen, dass Asking Alexandria und ich getrennte Wege gehen“, twitterte Danny Worsnop Anfang des Jahres und verkündete so seinen Abschied von der britischen Metalcoreband. In Szenekreisen wurde gemunkelt, wer denn nun den Platz am Mikrofon einnehmen wird, denn immerhin hat Worsnop auch breichtet, dass Asking Alexandria trotz seines Ausstiegs weiter touren und an einem neuen Album arbeiten werden. Und genau das ist auch der Fall, denn Ersatz für den Gesang wurde in Denis Shaforostov gefunden, der bereits aus Bands wie Make Me Famous und It´s Now Or Never bekannt ist. Gestern wurde schließlich ein erster Song mit neuem Sänger veröffentlicht: „I Won´t Give In“ heißt der neue Track mit Shaforostov, in dem Asking Alexandria trotz Veränderungen dem Metalcore treu bleiben, aber gleichzeitig auch mehr in Richtung von Genre-Kollegen wie Bring Me The Horizon gehen, was nicht zuletzt an der – im Vergleich zu Danny Worsnop – hohen Stimme von Denis Shaforostov liegt. 28.
