Juni in Hannover: Die Metalcoreband Asking Alexandria. „Ich bin nicht das Beste für die Band“ Sänger Danny Worsnop verlässt Asking Alexandria 30. So wird er auch auf dem „Rawk Attack“ in Hannover, das am 9. Juni auf der Gilde Parkbühne stattfindet, nicht das Mikrofon übernehmen. Asking Alexandria sind neben A Day To Remember, Papa Roach, Motionless In White und While She Sleeps für das Festival gebucht. „An alle meine Freunde und Fans: Ich möchte euch wissen lassen, dass Asking Alexandria und ich getrennte Wege gehen“, twitterte Danny Worsnop vor einigen Tagen und gab so seinen Ausstieg bei der Metalcoreband bekannt. „Über die letzten acht Jahre hinweg haben wir gemeinsam großartige Dinge gemacht und etwas wirklich Einzigartiges kreiert“, so weiter im Statement. „Nun möchte ich, so wie damals, das, was am besten für die Band ist und zu diesem Punkt bin das nicht ich. Asking Alexandria werden in diesem Jahr weiter touren und an einem neuen Album arbeiten. Ich werde Asking Alexandria immer unterstützen und lieben und ich kann es nicht erwarten zu sehen, was die Zukunft für sie bereit hält.“ Somit ist der Auftritt auf dem „Rawk Attack“, das am 9. Juni auf der Gilde Parkbühne stattfinden wird, nicht gefährdet. Wer allerdings in Zukunft Worsnops Posten einnehmen wird, ist noch nicht bekannt. Trotzdem wird in der Internetwelt wild gemutmaßt.
