In an effort to provide a positive experience for all, Light City is a fully accessible event and this Accessibility Guide is designed to help everyone enjoy the festival. GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL:  Driving and Parking o The lot in front of the Visitor Center (on Light Street) has very limited handicap parking. The eight spaces are available on a first come first serve basis after 5pm. o The Baltimore Visitor Center/ Light Street bus lane can also be used as a drop-off/pick-up location. o Garages in Area .  The Baltimore Visitor Center service drive, World Trade Center service drive, National Aquarium service drive and Pier 5 Hotel service drive can be used as a drop-off/pick-up locations for attendees with mobility disabilities (NOTE: the Access Center is adjacent to Pier 5 Hotel).

 Wheelchair Accessibility: The venue is fully navigable for people in wheelchairs. There are accessible pathways throughout the festival grounds.

 Biking/Bike Parking: Designated bike parking will be at the Visitor Center lawn located at the corner of Light St. and W. Conway St.

 Ride the MDOT MTA o Ride the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) to Light City! Public transportation is the best way to get to the festival. All MDOT MTA services are accessible for individuals with disabilities.  The (CCC) o The CCC is a free, fast and fully accessible public transportation service that travels four routes in the central business district of Baltimore City.

o Orange Route runs along Pratt and Lombard Streets between Hollins Market and Harbor. East Purple Route runs from 33rd Street to Federal Hill. Green Route runs between City Hall, Fell’s Point and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Banner Route runs between Fort McHenry and the Inner Harbor. o The Charm City Circulator hours: Sunday: 9am - 8pm, Monday-Thursday: 7am - 8pm, Friday: 7am – midnight, Saturday: 9am - midnight

 The Baltimore Water Taxi will be available during the following hours: 11am- 11pm on weekdays and 11am-12am on weekends.

At the Event:

 The Guest Services Tent is located at Transamerica Plaza address 100 Light St, Baltimore MD 21202. Hours of operation are April 14, 2018 – April 21, 2018, 7pm-11pm; until 12am on Fridays & Saturdays.

 The ATM’s and concession areas are accessible and located throughout the footprint, including Kaufman Pavilion, Promenade at the , Bicentennial Plaza, Constellation Pier, Area 10, and Pier 5.

 Service animals are allowed at the event. Service animals must be under the control of their owners, on a leash and alongside of its owner at all times. Disruptive or dangerous animals and their owners will be asked to leave the site.

 First Aid: Medics will be roaming throughout the event site to assist with issues. All emergency situations should be directed to 911. Guest Services and the Access Center staff will be able to locate medics should a situation arise.

 The event does not provide wheelchair rentals and there is not an area to store medications.
