Throughout the 1960’s and 70’s the production of Aston Martin cars became

more industrial, which helped to ensure that the company made substantial profits and

became the manufacturing giant that they are today. In the 1990’s the 2,000th DB7

rolled off the production line, with sales continuing even further until 2002 when the

6,000th DB7 was manufactured. On 12th March 2007 Aston Martin was purchased for

a record figure of £479 million and to date it is thought that the company is worth in the

region of £575 million. http://www.centralcontracts.com

The reason why Aston Martin is famous today because the movie 007.

Throughout the James Bond series of films and novels Q Branch has given Bond a wide

variety of vehicles with which to battle his enemies. Among the most noteworthy gadgets

Bond has been equipped with various vehicles that have numerous modifications to

include weapons systems, anti-pursuit systems, alternate transportation modes, and

various other functions. The most popular vehicles is Aston Martin DB5, it mainly

appears in movie Goldfinger. It had re-equips from Dr.Q including bulletproof

automobile body, bean, smoke screen launcher, machine gun, revolving car license,

follow-up device receiver, but also has the most famous ejection seat. In the movie

Goldfinger DB5 is Bond’s private car but in the movie Casino Royale Bond won the DB5

when he is playing poker in the casino at Bahamas. Aston Martin DBS The car was

seen in only four scenes, including the pre-credits teaser and as James and Tracy's

wedding car. Nothing is known about what kind of gadgets were installed, except that it

had a hiding place for a sniper rifle in the box. Obviously — given what happens at the

end of that movie — it was not fitted with bulletproof glass. The DBS is glimpsed in the

subsequent film, Diamonds Are Forever, parked up in Q Branch back in London when

Bond calls Q from Amsterdam. The car was actually cropped out of the frame on the

“pan-and-scan version” of the film. Vantage a convertible, it is later

"winterised" with a hardtop. It comes with all the usual refinements, including extending

side outriggers, spike-producing tires, missiles, lasers, signal-intercepting smart radio,

head-up display and rocket propulsion. It could also self-destruct when primed. Aston

Martin V12 Vanquish The car is equipped with all the usual refinements, including front-

firing rockets, hood-mounted target-seeking guns, spike-producing tires, again and a

passenger ejector seat in homage to the original Aston Martin DB5, but used here in a

clever bit of improvisation by 007 to right the car when it's been flipped onto its roof. The

Aston was also equipped with "adaptive camouflage" – a cloaking device that allowed it

to become effectively invisible at the push of a button. This vehicle was also featured in

the video games Nightfire and Everything or Nothing. http://www.jamesbondmm.co.uk

The reason why Aston Martin is famous is not just because it shows up in the

movie 007 is also because the DB9 with V12 engine producing an output of 470bhp

and One-77 with a 7.3 litre V12 engine with 750 hp. The DB9 is famous because it is a

product of Aston Martin which has established itself as a reliable company when it comes

to car manufacturing. Another important reason for the car being famous is that the DB

series was used in the James Bond movie which made it a really popular car. Aston

Martin can be used as a powerful race car as well. The V12 engine is capable of

producing an output of 470bhp. The car engine is a 6.0 liter and in combination all

these statistics make the Aston Martin a ferocious machine on the road. The DB9 version

of the Aston Martin series is the first one to be developed from aluminum platform, but

this factor has raised the price tag up to some extent. The DB series of the Aston Martin

is highly appreciated by its users and the car really satisfies the requirements which are

expected from it. Overall the car is simply great and is enjoyable to drive. Aston Martin

One-77 first appeared at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, although the car remained mostly

covered by a "Savile Row tailored skirt" throughout the show, before being fully revealed

at the 2009 Show. http://www.drivingdaysuk.co.uk

3. Conclution

How did Aston Martin still one of the most famous car companies in the world?

One of the reason is that Aston Martin keep change the owner, so it can get idea from all

different bosses, which can sees others' merit and corrects own shortcoming, obviously

the most important reasons is the James Bond movie 007, the main actor James Bond

drove Aston Martin since 1960’s. The movie did a good advertisement and they also

made people think if they bought an Aston Martin they can be as cool as James Bond. In

the movie they showed a lot of impossible technology on the car, for example spike-

producing tires, this technology might be easy to do it now but in the day movie produce

this was just magic, that’s how make Aston Martin so special and attractive. Of course if

Aston does not have any strength it won’t be that successful like today.
