The National Sports Complex Olimpiyskiy is the biggest stadium among other stadiums that hosted EURO 2012 matches. It is an exciting, informative, and interactive tour for people of any age group. The stadium can seat 70,050 people, but during the EURO 2012 Tournament only 68,055 seats was used. The stadium has been renovated with all the advanced technologies applied. In its appearance a lot of glass was used. The roof, made of translucent plastic materials, covers 100% of the seats. The infrastructure meets the UEFA requirements for an elite class stadium — it has a new security system, enough exits, and entrances. The stadium is equipped with advanced information and computer techno logy systems. The NSC Olimpiyskiy was the main stadium for the EURO 2012 Tournament. The final match and the closing ceremony were held there. Nature is taking over the place. Wildlife is truly great in the zone. There are foxes, hares, wild boars, deer, wolves, moose, and herds of Przewalski horses and other species. You should keep your eyes open and look around on your way from the checkpoint to the town of Chornobyl. Stop in the village of Zalissya with almost 700 abandoned houses (uninhabited) Discover the town of Chornobyl – the busiest part of the zone nowadays. Late lunch at Chornobyl Cafe 4. 17:30 - 19:00 Departure to Kyiv 5. 20:00 – Dinner at the hotel • Breakfast at the hotel • 09:00 –check-out and departure the Strategic missile forces base (298 KM) • 12:00 – Tour to the Strategic missile forces base Till the beginning of 1994 this defense base had 176 missile complexes, which were armed with 130 missiles type PC-18 (CC-19) and 46 missiles type PC-22 (CC-24) with 1272 nuclear warheads. In addition, Ukraine had 2500 units of tactical nuclear weapons. Between 1988 and 1991 all missiles were eliminated. On the 46th base it was offered by Americans to create a museum. And it was done! This museum is located around 300 km south from Kyiv on the way to Odesa. The excursion consists of 2 stages: introduction about a history of military forces inside and outside the museum and visiting of underground command post. It will take 2 hours. All guides are former military men who served at this base. The high light of the trip is being a descent 33 m down to the bottom of the Unified Launch Control Center! You can take an underground corridor to the massive doors which lead to a self-contained silo-based 12-storey Command Post which could function sealed from the outside world for 45 days.

Eine erhebliche Migrationswelle russischsprachiger Migrant*innen aus postsowjetischen Städten hat sich in den europäischen Ländern niedergelassen. Die Forschung wurde auf drei Ebenen und in vier Städten durchgeführt (Berlin, Sankt-Petersburg, Odessa und Baku). 1. Einer der wichtigsten Fokusse der Forschung ist die vergleichende Geschichte der Entwicklung der drei Städte – Sankt-Petersburg (Russland), Odessa (Ukraine) und Baku (Aserbaidschan), die als Räume im Kontext urbaner Gesellschaft und Habitus konstruiert wurden. Diese drei Städte haben verschiedene, aber auch besondere Rollen in der Geschichte des Russischen Reichs und der Sowjetunion gespielt. Der wichtigste geschichtliche Zeitraum ist mit der Europäisierung des Russischen Reichs verbunden. Es sind nämlich diese vier ausgewählten Städte, in denen die Deutschen eine wichtige Rolle spielten (ebenso wie die Franzosen, Italiener und andere Einwanderer europäischer Länder), die zu verschiedenen Zeiten s die größten Stätten dieses Prozesses wurden. Dieser Faktor bestimmt weitgehend die Spezifität des urbanen Habitus (Lebensraum). 2. Der zweite Fokus liegt auf der urbanen Gesellschaft der Bürger*innen Sank- Petersburgs, Odessas und Bakus.
