Marietta College THE COACHES: Marietta’s Andy Waddle is in his sixth season at the helm of the Pioneer program. He is the 29th head coach in program history. Waddle, a 2003 graduate Pioneers (5-0, 4-0 OAC) of Wittenberg University, spent eight seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, 9/1 at Geneva (Pa.) W / 35-24 including seven as the defensive coordinator prior to coming to Marietta. Moore, a graduate of Hiram College, came to Wilmington from Bluffton College 10/27 BALDWIN WALLACE * 1:30 p.m. where he served as the offensive coordinator for three seasons under head coach Denny 11/3 at Otterbein * 1:30 p.m. Dorrel, a former Marietta College assistant. Prior to his time at Bluffton, Moore served as 11/10 at Mount Union * 1:30 p.m. the offensive coordinator at Heidelberg and Emory & Henry. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Thomas More. Wilmington College ALL-TIME SERIES: Saturday marks the 28th time that the two teams will meet on the Quakers (1-4, 0-4 OAC) gridiron. Marietta currently leads the series, 17-10. The series began in 1915 with the Pioneers winning 68-7. The two schools have played every year since 2000. Clark is also Marietta College tops in the OAC in scoring with 100 points. Senior Darrien Fields has completed 95-of- Pioneers 142 passes for 1282 yards and 12 TDs. He leads the OAC in completion percentage at Location: Marietta, Ohio 66.9%. Junior wide receiver Andrew Barker ranks 1st in the OAC with 109.8 receiving Enrollment: 1,200 yards per game and 7 TDs. Currently, he has 5,062 career yards and is 3rd all-time at Marietta. Jason Vrable (2003-06), current assistant coach with the New York Jets, holds the MC record with 6,102 yards followed by Andrew Keller Wilmington College (2008-11) with 5,733, Fields and Aaron Conte (1993-96) with 4,820. Fields set the MC Quakers career record for TD passes two weeks ago and now has 46 for his career. Vrable held Location: Wilmington, Ohio the old mark of 41.
