The men and women of the National Guard will begin providing aid to food banks in five communities across the state, including Ann Arbor, Comstock Park, Flint, Pontiac, and Royal Oak through the end of April. Approximately 10 Michigan National Guard members will serve at each site, directing traffic for the drive-through distribution sites and assisting with packing bags and handing to cars.
