RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

My primary research focus is HIV implementation science, specifically how to best implement HIV/AIDS engagement and care interventions (e.g. antiretroviral therapy) in resource-constrained settings. I have conducted randomized-controlled trials, observational studies, and systematic reviews in this field. A related research area of mine is mHealth (mobile health technology) strategies for improving global health and clinical care. My research is multidisciplinary, using mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative), and integrating behavioral science and economic evaluations with patient-oriented outcomes research.
