Crisicum 4. pp.431. _______________________________________________________________________________ A Dél-Tiszántúl annotált állattani bibliográfiájának alapvetése Kalivoda Béla Abstrackt Establishing the basis of the Annotated Zoological Bibliography of the South-Tiszántúl: The goal of this work was to initiate to collect the publications of the zoological data of the South- Tiszántúl (South-East Hungary, see on the maplet) namely the activity area of the Körös-Maros National Park Directorate. During the assembly of the bibliography my principal was the collection of zoological data. So the work contains publications of more or less accurate occurrence data. For the better usages sake the bibliography is annotated. Its items are provided with a code composed from the name of author(s), year of publishing and, if it is necessary, an additional letter code.

  • Holocene Palaeoenvironmental Reconstruction Based on Fossil Beetle Faunas from the Altai-Xinjiang Region, China
Holocene palaeoenvironmental reconstruction based on fossil beetle faunas from the Altai-Xinjiang region, China Thesis submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the University of London By Tianshu Zhang February 2018 Department of Geography, Royal Holloway, University of London Declaration of Authorship I Tianshu Zhang hereby declare that this thesis and the work presented in it is entirely my own. Where I have consulted the work of others, this is always clearly stated. Signed: Date: 25/02/2018 1 Abstract This project presents the results of the analysis of fossil beetle assemblages extracted from 71 samples from two peat profiles from the Halashazi Wetland in the southern Altai region of northwest China. The fossil assemblages allowed the reconstruction of local environments of the early (10,424 to 9500 cal. yr BP) and middle Holocene (6374 to 4378 cal. yr BP). In total, 54 Coleoptera taxa representing 44 genera and 14 families have been found, and 37 species have been identified, including a new species, Helophorus sinoglacialis. The majority of the fossil beetle species identified are today part of the Siberian fauna, and indicate cold steppe or tundra ecosystems. Based on the biogeographic affinities of the fossil faunas, it appears that the Altai Mountains served as dispersal corridor for cold-adapted (northern) beetle species during the Holocene. Quantified temperature estimates were made using the Mutual Climate Range (MCR) method. In addition, indicator beetle species (cold adapted species and bark beetles) have helped to identify both cold and warm intervals, and moisture conditions have been estimated on the basis of water associated species.

Munis Entomology & Zoology, 11 (2): 682-690] ABSTRACT: This work is presented a comparative list of the leaf beetles of the provinces in Marmara Region of Turkey, excluding Bruchinae. All known taxa from the provinces in Marmara Region of Turkey and thereby European Turkey are given in the present text. KEY WORDS: Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, European Turkey, Marmara Region, Turkey Any direct research on leaf beetles in Marmara Region of Turkey is not present. Therefore fauna of leaf beetles in Marmara Region of Turkey is not sufficiently known. Chiefly, a complete faunistic information about all the leaf beetle taxa established in European Turkey in Marmara Region of Turkey was firstly published by Löbl & Smetana (2010) in their Palaearctic catalogue of Chrysomeloidea. Then, an important study titled “Checklist of leaf beetles (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) of Turkey, excluding Bruchinae” was published by Ekiz et al. (2013). Later works were published by Özdikmen (2014a,b,c), Özdikmen & Kaya (2014), Özdikmen & Mercan (2014), Özdikmen & Cihan (2014), Özdikmen & Özbek (2014), Özdikmen & Kavak (2014) and Özdikmen & Topcu (2014). Although the mentioned studies helped to determine the list of leaf beetles from the provinces in Marmara Region of Turkey, the list needs further corrections to be fully and correctly realized.

  • Overview on the Chrysomeloidea Superfamily (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae, Orsodacnidae, Chrysomelidae) in Dobrogea (Romania)
Travaux du Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle © 31 août «Grigore Antipa» Vol. LV (1) pp. 65–123 2012 DOI: 10.2478/v10191-012-0007-9 OVERVIEW ON THE CHRYSOMELOIDEA SUPERFAMILY (COLEOPTERA: CERAMBYCIDAE, ORSODACNIDAE, CHRYSOMELIDAE) IN DOBROGEA (ROMANIA) SANDA MAICAN, RODICA SERAFIM Abstract. The study represents a synthesis about the distribution of the species from superfamily Chrysomeloidea in Dobruja (Dobrogea) region (South-eastern Romania). 407 species from 132 genera and 15 subfamilies are recorded, based on the published data and on the study of material preserved in the collections of the “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History (Bucharest) and the Institute of Biology Bucharest of the Romanian Academy. The species Lilioceris lilii (Scopoli), Oulema erichsonii (Suffrian), Euluperus cyaneus (Joannis) and Altica quercetorum quercetorum Foudras are mentioned for the first time in fauna of Dobrogea. Some endemic species are highlighted: Vadonia hirsuta (K. Daniel & J. Daniel), Dorcadion equestre transsilvanicum Ganglbauer, D. gashtarovi Sama, Dascălu & Pesarini, D. axillare Küster and Brachyta balcanica Hampe. Rosalia alpina alpina Linnaeus, Morimus asper funereus Mulsant and Cerambyx cerdo cerdo Linnaeus are protected species, included in the annexes of the Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and wild fauna and flora. Also, Brachyta balcanica Hampe, Pedostrangalia verticalis Germar and Neodorcadion exornatum (Frivaldsky von Frivald) are species of national interest requiring strict protection, listed in the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 57/2007 on the regime of natural protected areas, the conservation of natural habitats, wild fauna and flora. Among the rare species we mention: Coptosia albovittigera Heyden, Deroplia genei genei (Aragona), Phytoecia praetextata praetextata (Steven), Cerambyx miles Bonelli, C.
