The UIPM - Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne, together with the Ukrainian Modern Pentathlon Federation (UMPF), has the pleasure to invite a delegation of your country to participate in the XII Open Masters European Championships that will be held in Kharkiv, Ukraine from September, 26 till October, 01 2017 according to the following programme:

Teams will be accommodated in Hotel «Mercury», Address: Kharkov Divisions str. 29, Kharkov, 61096, Ukraine http://www.mercury-hotel.com.ua Please note that the Technical Meeting, Accreditation Office and LOC Office etc. will be located in the Hotel Mercury.

Transport

Transportation from the nearest airport (or railway station) to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if arrival information is provided in good time and according to the deadline on Entry Form C. Transportation from the official hotel to the venue for athletes will be according to the competition programme. 3. Accommodation

For all delegations (athletes, coaches, officials, supporters) reserving the accommodation package, the prices are as follows:

▪ EUR 55 for a double room per night per person ▪ EUR 75 for a single room per night per person

Financial Conditions

This price includes Full Board accommodation and shuttle from/to the nearest Airports and Raiway station without price of competitions.

Ticket to the Banquet (October,1) - 25 EUR

Cost of registration for competitions:

▪   EUR 130 for a Pentathlon individual competition per person ▪   EUR 65 for a Tetrathlon individual competition per person ▪   EUR 95 for a Pentathlon relay competition per person ▪ EUR 45 for a Tetrathlon relay competition per person

This price includes local transportation from/to the event, lunch packing and price of competitions.

Delegations are required to send by bank transfer a minimum of 30 percent of the total amount of their accommodation invoice until 6 of September, otherwise the reservation will not be guaranteed. After receiving Entry Form C and the non- refundable 30 percent deposit, we will send you an invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your delegation. This may be paid in cash (Euros,USD, UAH) at the accreditation desk on arrival, or sent by bank transfer in advance.

Delegations are reminded of the Rule 1.14.3 & 1.14.5. Following confirmation of the final entries, a NF must enter the competition with at least one pentathlete. Any NF failing to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 Euros to UIPM. We would appreciate early confirmation of your intention to participate or not and submit this as Entry Form A.

Athletes Licenses

Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license, they will not be allowed to take part in the competition. You are reminded of Rule 1.12.1 ii): Pentathletes without riding ability listed in the database and without a letter from their NF confirming their ability to ride may compete at World Cup competitions in the qualification for the Final, but if they qualify for the Final, must relinquish their place to the next placed pentathlete qualified rider from their group.

Insurance

According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation

Visas & Vaccinations

The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate. 5. Equipment control Fencing equipment control takes place on the pistes before the start of the first bout. Pistol check will generally take place at competition site and starts 120 minutes before LR starts. Fencing Equipment must be according to UIPM rules (see Rulebook) while appointed NTO will proceed with the equipment control.
