I had pre-ordered the book and received it right on the day it was released. I have devoured parts of the book already and my inner geek loves it!You know how some books are simply a rehash of old materials? Sometimes it doesnrsquo;t seem worth it to buy a new book just for a new cover and a different arrangement of information from past books. Well, let me tell you that this one is different.First, the illustrations are beautiful and the book itself is well made. Instead of plain white, the pages are colored to give it an aged look. The book is organized into seven chapters: the early universe, the birth of knowledge, the age of expansion, the rise of the cybermen, the age of empire, the time of the , and the end of time.It certainly is one of the most interesting history books Irsquo;ve had the pleasure of reading. Any Doctor Who fan would love it.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Maybe was expecting moreBy Blair WestA nice plot continuity for the series, but less encyclopedic than I hoped. A good outline for the true fan, with a few nice graphics, but was underwhelmed by the whole package.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
