Curculionid Beetles (Coleoptera) Newly Recorded from Niijima and Shikine-jima Islands, the Izu Islands, Japan

Weevil fauna of Niijima and Shikine-jima Islands has been recorded by MORIMOTO (1981), MORIMOTO & MIYAKAWA (1985), HIRANO et al., (1993), MORIMOTO et al., (2006) and YOSHITAKE (2012), and a total of 65 and 27 species in ﬁve and two families are known, respectively. In the recent short survey, following species were newly found from the respective island and are recorded below. Collector names are abbreviated as follows: CZ: Chennan ZHANG; HF: Hiroshi FUJITA; HK: Hiroaki KOJIMA and KT: Kentarô TSUJII. The authors thank Messrs. H. FUJITA and K.
