The project « MOOC4EU » was funded with the support of the under the Programme " for Citizens" Applicable to the Strand 2 – Measure 2.2 "Networks of Towns"

8 events have been carried out within this project gathering 420 participants:

Event 1

Participation: The event involved 59 citizens, including: 3 participants from the city of (France), 2 participants from the city of Jaen (), 1 participant from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 2 participants from the city of (Slovakia), 2 participants from the city of (Belgium), 1 participant from the city of Tirana (), 4 participants from the city of Aalborg (Denmark), 44 participants from the city of (Germany). Location / Dates: The event took place in Dresden (Germany), from 26/04/2016 to 30/04/2016 Short description: The aim of the kick-off meeting held in the Stadt Dresden was to introduce to each over, validate a common methodology and plan the futures activities of the project.

Event 2

Participation: The event involved 48 citizens: 3 participants from the city of Marseille (France), 4 participants from the city of Dresden (Germany), 3 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain), 3 participants from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 3 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), 4 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania), 1 participant from the city of Aalborg (Denmark), 27 participants from the city of Bratislava (Slovakia). Location / Dates: The event took place in Bratislava (Slovakia), from 07/07/2016 to 09/07/2016 Short description: The aim of this event was to train a group of facilitators from partner organizations in knowledge and skills to be used in building awareness of minorities about the European citizenship and intercultural dialogue, facilitate interaction with minorities involved in the project activities and plan activities on national level in each partner countries, to agree on the details of the final outcome of the project.

Event 3

Participation: The event involved 39 citizens: 3 participants from the city of Marseille (France), 2 participants from the city of Dresden (Germany), 2 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain), 3 participants from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 3 participants from the city of Bratislava (Slovakia), 2 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), 2 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania) and 21 participants from the city of Aalborg (Denmark). Location / Dates: The event took place in Slettestrand. (Denmark), from 06/11/2016 to 09/11/2016 Short description: The aim of the event was to create a debate on the topic of involvement of minority groups in the decision making process.

Event 4

Participation: The event involved 58 citizens: 5 participants from the city of Marseille (France), 3 participants from the city of Dresden (Germany), 3 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain), 4 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), 2 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania), 3 participants from the city of Aalborg (Denmark) and 38 participants from the city of Timisoara (Romania), Location / Dates: The event took place in Timisoara (Romania), from 12/01/2017 to 13/01/2017 Short description: The aim of the event was to debate on the theme: minorities and in Romania and the EU.

Event 5

Participation: The event involved 54 citizens: 6 participants from the city of Marseille (France), 2 participants from the city of Dresden (Germany), 3 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain), 3 participants from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 3 participants from the city of Bratislava (Slovakia), 3 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), 2 participants from the city of Aalborg (Denmark) and 32 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania). Location / Dates: The event took place in Durres (Albania), from 01/03/2017 to 03/03/2017 Short description: The aim of the event was to create a debate between minorities from the partners’ countries about the future of Europe in relation to the theme of “Migration and Mobility”

Event 6

Participation: The event involved 78 citizens: 5 participants from the city of Marseille (France), 2 participants from the city of Dresden (Germany), 2 participants from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Bratislava (Slovakia), 2 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), 2 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania), 1 participant from the city of Aalborg (Denmark) and 62 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain). Location / Dates: The event took place in Jaen (Spain), from 25/04/2017 to 27/04/2017 Short description: The aim of the event was to create a debate between minorities from the partners’ countries about the future of Europe in relation to the theme of “social inclusion” in order to draw a recommendation paper for EU.

Event 7

Participation: The event involved 43 citizens: 6 participants from the city of Marseille (France), 2 participants from the city of Dresden (Germany), 2 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain), 2 participants from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Bratislava (Slovakia), 4 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania), 6 participants from the city of Aalborg (Denmark) and 19 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), Location / Dates: The event took place in Brussels (Belgium), from 18/06/2017 to 21/06/2017 Short description: The aim of the event was to advocate towards European institutions (dialogue and exchanges with EU representatives at European Commission and Parliament).

Event 8

Participation: The event involved 41 citizens: 2 participants from the city of Jaen (Spain), 1 participant from the city of Timisoara (Romania), 3 participants from the city of Bratislava (Slovakia), 2 participants from the city of Brussels (Belgium), 2 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania) and 31 participants from the city of Marseille (France). Location / Dates: The event took place in Marseille (France), from 06/10/2017 to 07/10/2017 Short description: The aim of the event was to present the results of the project (recommendation paper + MOOC videos) to a wide audience and to meet other regional organizations active in the field of citizenship to exchange experiences and plan future projects.
