Early in 2013, for example, we were very proud to announce that SAE Institute graduate Mark Paterson had gone on to achieve outstanding work on Les Miserables. While recognition at this level is something that most people can only dream about, our students have gone on to achieve huge success and enjoyed rewarding careers in many areas of the Creative Media industry. It encourages the career development of graduate students and offers support in this development through the Alumni Association services, activities and the relationship with the Institution’s industry partners. We focus on the exchange of knowledge amongst association projects available to graduates, the establishment of connections to the industry, and the provision of support which helps to ease the transition from study to entry into the digital media industry. 2014 SAE Institute International Prospectus 4 Student Spotlight... We’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Smith. He is currently studying the Bachelor of Audio Production at SAE Institute Perth, Australia. Here’s what he has to say about his experience at SAE Institute. Tuesday... Monday... Tuesday morning is my favourite class - To start off the week, I squeeze in some MIDI and Electronic Music. study in the morning, before getting the train I'm working on my next assignment, to school for Music Styles in the afternoon. which is an electronic remix. Wednesday... Friday... My day off! I usually start the morning either surfing or boating because I live close to After Creative Project 1 in the the ocean, or I ride my bike. I'll spend the morning, I'll stay on campus to afternoon studying or working on assignments, do some study in the library. and then do some prep for work tonight, like My classmates and I usually putting together a few playlists for my DJ wind down in the afternoon at residency set at a nightclub in the city. a nearby pub before I head to work for my DJ set at 9pm. Saturday... I'll mostly take it easy on Saturdays by going for a Thursday... surf or bike ride.
