(South Fork) filed an application for a license under Part I of the Federal Power Act (Act) to construct, operate, and maintain the proposed Twin Falls Project No. 4885. The project would be located on the South Fork Snoqualmie River in the Snohomish River Basin in King County, Washington, would occupy lands of the United %wE2es, and would affect the interests of interstate and foreign commerce. Previously, on November 24, 1981, Puget Sound Power & Light Company, and the City of Tacoma, Department of Public Utilities, had each filed separate applications for preliminary permit for the same site to study the feasibility of Project Nos.
