First International Conference on Crisis Management in the Arab World - Realities And FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE ARAB WORLD - REALITIES AND CHALLENGES- AHMED DRAIA UNIVERSITY, ADRAR, ALGERIA AHMED DRAIA UNIVERSITY, ADRAR, ALGERIA Faculty of Economics, Commerce and Management In collaboration with the laboratory of “Afro-Algerian Economic Integration” Organize International conference on: “CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE ARAB WORLD - REALITIES AND CHALLENGES” December 09-10, 2015 Call for Papers Under the patronage of professor HAMLIL SALEH excellency, The Faculty of Economics, Commerce and Management, in collaboration with the laboratory ” Afro-Algerian Economic Integration” invites researchers, academicians, professional, practitioners and students in Algeria, Arab Region and foreign countries to submit research and experiences in form of original research papers to the first International Conference on: “CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE ARAB WORLD - REALITIES AND CHALLENGES” December 09-10, 2015 . Conference The economic, political and social repercussions of events in the Arab world rose the need to make a right vision to the concept of risks and crises management and determinate its standards and the mechanism to deal with it, especially with the availability of all means of communication that lead to a speed spread of information. The importance of this topic arise with the large differences in how each country prepared for the risks and potential crises which makes the process of providing effective diagnosis tools accessible to the decision-makers to evaluate and monitor the national resilience to risks and crises a very important issue, The multitude of inherent and explicit risks Of crises in the Arab region, increased the need to invest all available resources for the purpose of meeting the economic and social needs of the different population categories, Especially young people, who represent the vast majority of the population in the Arab region which makes their integration in the economy easier and more cost-effective, Generally; Arab countries are required to invest their available financial resources in projects that are more effective for development, The deployment of crisis management culture is a joint issue between the various actors in the economy and society; education systems, administration, media and the supervising governments all those must play an active and integral role in crises management, The distinction is made between two methods of crisis management; treating the crises and freezing the crises; the first means Surrounding the different aspects of the crisis And find effective and final solutions, the second means keeping the crisis in a particular situation, and to keep it effects outside the direct influence on the state's values and goals, and treat it as a case of usable and investment with a view to benefit from it. The concept of crisis management is different from the concept of crisis resolving, when crisis resolving is to end the crisis without making any benefits from the opportunities that was provided, The crisis management means dealing with it and directing it to achieve benefits more than the process of freezing the crises FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE ARAB WORLD - REALITIES AND CHALLENGES- AHMED DRAIA UNIVERSITY, ADRAR, ALGERIA From above, this conference aims to enrich the debate on the mechanisms of crisis management in the Arab world, challenges and the efficiency of the methods adopted in this area. AUTHORS WHO DO NOT OBEY TO THE REGISTRATION RULES OF ECRES ORGANIZATION (2018) Herewith The ECRES Organization Committee announces that these people below did not inform their cancellations for the participation of ECRES till beginning of June and their unpredictable attitudes made certain problems in the preperations of the conference programme, certification and all other arrangements with conference venue, although the committee warned many times all scientists for their participation conditions. Therefore the committee has decided to produce this list in order to get attention of other scientific events’ organizers and to maintain the scientific conference ethics among the participants in order to make a healthy organization. Note that these people will not be able to send their studies to ECRES Conference Series for following 2 years (June 2020) due to their “unrespectful” and “disordered” attitudes. • Constitutions and Democratic Transition in the Arab Region
The th9 ACRPS Conference on Democratic Transition Constitutions and Democratic Transition in the Arab Region September 24 - 29, 2020 In cooperation with The Arab Association of Constitutional Law Online Registration Timetable | Participants | Abstracts About Conference Given their importance to the framework of democratic countries, forming as they do the core of the political - social contract between rulers and the ruled, constitutions are of great importance in countries undergoing democratic transition. After all, they are contracts that determine the nature of the state and the basic components upon which its political system is founded; the competencies of public authorities and the relationship between authorities; the rights and freedoms of citizens; and the rules for the distribution of power and wealth among the regions making up the state. Arab countries have seen a range of movements pressing for the adoption of political and constitutional reforms essential to the success of democratic transition and building the rule of law. Such demands arose concomitantly with growing human rights violations in the Arab region; election fixing; the monopolization and abuse of power by tyrannical rulers; suppression of the opposition; discrimination against minorities and specific segments of society; negligible rule of law; weakness in all indicators of good governance and integrity; absence of social justice; and the lack of independence and integrity of the judiciary. These demands were part of the “Arab reform projects” that proliferated before the Arab revolutions of 2011. Widespread preoccupation with the constitutional issue on the part of intellectuals, civil activists, and academic and political elites, did not occur, however until the Arab revolutions that encompassed – differences in intensity, contexts, and conditions between one country and another notwithstanding – a set of intersections between all Arab countries.
