47. Apologies Apologies were received from Rev. B. Faulkner & PCSO J. Winfreld. The meeting stood in silence to remember the late Mrs. Lin White, who was tagically involved n afatal car accident. Mrs. White had been a former Internal auditor to the Council. It was noted that a leffer of sympathy had been sent from the Council, to her husband, Mr. P. White.

49. Declarations of Interest There were no declarations of Interests.

50. Open Session Mr. A. Hickman reported that the damaged railings on the bridge beyond the Yeovilton Weir have been repaired.

Mrs. Hickman ask if there was any update reference the requested 40 MPH speed limit on the 8.3 1 5 1 from to RNAS Yeovilton. It was stated that there was nothing further to report from County Highways. Mr. Warne asked why do not cyclists use their proper designated paths, where these are available. It was agreed that they should. Mr. Paterson, Boon Brown, took members & the members of the public present, tlrough the detailed proposals within application 17 /033348UL for Mr. Concannon on land at Lower Farm, Podimore for the erection of 3 No. dwellings, alteratiotts, extension and conversion of barn to form garuge/cxport and creation of new access.

51. & RNAS matters In the absence of any Police 0fficers, the Couacil noted that updates on Farm thefts were notified to members. The Council noted the Police Crime Commissioner's letter. Mrs. Jones regretted that there no RNAS Officers attending from RNAS Yeovilton or apologies had been received. The meeting discussed the recent tragic event on the 8.3151, and it was agreed to ask for a meeting with the Commodore, to be attended by the Chair & Vice- Chairman, possibly also, to include representatives of Ilchester Parish Council. The request being made via Major D. Wilson, CRO.

52. Planning matters The Council noted that there was no decision by SCC had been taken reference SCC application 17/01166/CPO at RNAS for the construction of a 360 sq.m. Board on land OS 2454, Podimore for storage building to house hay & straw for agricultural use, had been granted. The Council considered application fi/AB34BUL for Mr. Concannon on land at Lower Farm, Podimore for the erection of 3 No. dwellings, alterations, extension and conversion of barn to form garagelcarprt and creation of new access, and after consideration, agreed to support the application, subject to sewage waste from the development is contained within the site and not into the main sewerage system and an old horse pond within the site be made a feature. The Council discussed and supported applicatiot fi /A3493/FUL for Dr. Lindsey Smith at Twenty Pence Cottage, Bineham Lane, Yeovilton for erection of a Summer house. The Council noted that application 17103425/AGN for Mr. Mark Stevens, Stockwich Farm, Stockwich notification of intent to erect agricultural storage building requires a full planning application. The Council noted that there were no plans received to date for development at Manor Farm, Yeovilton. 2

59. Correspondence Schools. The Council noted a road closure for five nights from September 27th on the B.3151 by Ilchester Other correspondence noted were Somerset Waste Partnership newsletter & Clerks Direct.
