analysis 192 Sources: Country profiles 193 6 | Page Introduction and context of study This report is based on work carried out for the European Commission in 2015 and looks at the way in which national systems prioritise the delivery of certain types of television content over distribution platforms. The report involved researching the current status in the EU28 and six additional countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Norway, the Republic of Serbia and Switzerland. This is done from two perspectives: A comprehensive overview of must-carry obligations in 34 countries An examination of access for channels to free-to-air digital terrestrial television networks and a presentation of the state of play regarding channels on free DTT Chapter one outlines the status of must-carry rules in Europe on the basis of the investiga- tion into the rules in 34 European countries. It covers the platforms and services that are relevant in national rules and looks at the aims of regulation and what types of services are deemed relevant to fulfil these aims. Where relevant, other content rules such as must-offer, or must-find are addressed. The focus of the report is on linear services, however in the context of discussions on must- find, some reference was made to the issue of prominence in the response of regulators, with regard to the “findability” of services in on-demand audiovisual services. Must-carry rules serve to ensure the delivery of specific types of content (public service and /or special interest) and the rules place obligations (and sometimes burdens of costs) on distribution platforms. Chapter one also makes reference to some of the legal challeng- es initiated by distributors with regard to must-carry regimes. The need for the must-carry rules to be consistent with the Universal Services Directive has also led to investigations of regimes by the European commission and these are also outlined in chapter one. Chapter two provides information on the status of digital terrestrial television (DTT) in Eu- rope, also on the basis of the research into the 34 countries, and on other data from the MAVISE database and the European Audiovisual Observatory. It provides a brief overview of DTT licensing regimes for free-DTT platforms, and outlines the obstacles to accessing such platforms. In this context, the distinctions between the types of systems are explained – where the multiplex operator has the strongest influence over the content of the multiplex, or alternatively where the licensing process and the regu- lator determines the content of the multiplexes.

Retail sales have demonstrated signs of recovering, along with expected GDP growth in 2015. Demand for audiovisual equipment is covered by imports, mainly from European Union countries China, Korea, and Japan. The United States is a supplier of computers and peripherals.. Out of a population of 10.8 million people and 3.7 million households, there is an average of two television sets per household. Ninety-nine percent of these households have access to free broadcast TV, 19.5 percent have access to satellite and IP Pay TV, and 3 percent have satellite internet and pay TV bundled service. Market Trends The end of 2014 is expected to mark the completion of analogue broadcasting and a transfer to digital service. The switchover requires technological upgrades for media outlets, households, and businesses. Within this context, Digea was formed as a network operator providing a digital terrestrial television transmission in Greece for seven nationwide private TV channels (Alpha TV, Alter Channel, ANT1,Macedonia TV, Mega Channel, Skai TV, and Star Channel). In addition to these free nationwide broadcast stations, the network is open to other station broadcasts. With respect to pay-TV, fierce competition between the two main providers (Nova/Forthnet & OTE) resulted in record-high satellite and IP-TV subscriptions as well as the introduction of new channels and relevant content by the two rival platforms.

Buzău C.U.I. 17113179 Telefon: 0746065856 Întrunit în şedinţă publică în ziua de 14 noiembrie 2019, Consiliul Naţional al Audiovizualului a analizat raportul întocmit de Serviciul Inspecţie cu privire la reţeaua de comunicaţii electronice din localitatea BUDA, jud. Buzău aparţinând S.C. TV ALFA OMEGA 2005 S.R.L. Distribuitorul de servicii S.C. TV ALFA OMEGA 2005 S.R.L. deţine avizul de retransmisie nr. A 6710.1/24.11.2016 pentru localitatea BUDA, judeţul Buzău. Analizând raportul prezentat de Serviciul Inspecţie, membrii Consiliului au constatat că distribuitorul de servicii S.C. TV ALFA OMEGA 2005 S.R.L. a încălcat prevederile articolelor 74 alin. (3) și 82 alin. (2) din Legea audiovizualului nr. 504/2002, cu modificările şi completările ulterioare. Potrivit dispozițiilor invocate: Art. 74 alin. (3): Distribuitorii de servicii pot modifica structura ofertei de servicii de programe retransmise numai cu acordul Consiliului. Art. 82 alin. (2): Distribuitorii care retransmit servicii de programe au obligaţia, la nivel regional şi local, să includă în oferta lor cel puţin două programe regionale şi două programe locale, acolo unde acestea există; criteriul de departajare va fi ordinea descrescătoare a audienţei. În fapt, în urma controlului efectuat de inspectorul teritorial al C.N.A., în data de 16.09.2019, în localitatea BUDA, judeţul Buzău, la staţia CATV cu denumirea TV ALFA OMEGA 2005, aparţinând S.C.

En av dessa metoder i Sverige och Danmark är marksänd digital-TV och ägs av det statliga företaget Teracom Boxer Group. För att kunna se på TV via marknätet behöver hushåll vara utrustade med en TV- antenn som kan ta emot signaler från sändarmaster. Sändningen sker via basstationer, som skickar marksända signaler till mindre sändarmaster, utspridda över landet, för att kunna nå alla mottagarantenner. Dagens TV-antenner ses idag som ett ont måste för att kunna titta på TV via marknätet eftersom det är kostsamt, behöver oftast professionell installation och påverkas av olika väderförhållanden samt förbipasserande föremål. Utöver det har dagens antenner ingen attraktiv design som gör att antennen inte integreras på ett smidigt sätt i sin omgivning. Syftet med examensarbetet är att utveckla ett nytt koncept för en digital TV-antenn, och som ett resultat behålla och attrahera nya kunder till att använda marknätet för att se på TV. Genom att utveckla en ny modern design och integrera en ny funktion i TV-antennen skapas därigenom ett mervärde för kunden.
