STRIVE FOR BETTERMENT OF CHARACTER Our unique After School Karate program channels after school energy into a positive, productive afternoon of supervised homework, fun activities and quality PROTECT THE WAY OF TRUTH martial arts training. Our program provides for a safe space for your child from the time they get out of school until you get off work. And we work with you and your RESPECT OTHERS child to motivate them to be the best that they can be.

FOSTER THE SPIRIT OF EFFORT Our after school karate program blends two important programs into one. First, we are dedicated to the scholastic achievement of our martial arts students. We GUARD AGAINST IMPETUOUS COURAGE stress a minimum B average to graduate to the next belt level, and we reward achievers. We provide supervised homework time, and check students’ homework agendas before dressing for Karate class. Second, after homework is complete, students join our quality martial arts classes for 1-2 classes per day. Karate promotes physical development, stamina and coordination. It also provides a fun, social and high-energy balance to academic work.

Our after school karate program is not a day care. But it is a great alternative. In our studio, we create a respectful, cooperative environment in which kids have responsibility for others and show respect to others. We also teach students to manage responsibilities that are theirs alone: a clean uniform, homework agenda, a B average and respectful interactions. Our program stresses personal discipline, taking responsibility and setting goals—skills that carry us through life. We also promote self-conﬁ dence and self-respect, which give your child the courage to say NO in the face of peer pressure.

Best of all, our martial arts classes are full of excitement and fun! Your children will train with some of the country’s best karate athletes, and witness the rewards of perseverence and hard work. Fonseca Martial Arts On “teachers holidays” we will be open from 9AM for your child at no extra cost. Additionally, camps will start earlier for half days and early dismissals.

Youth Karate The study of karate brings more than just physical rewards; students also develop discipline, focus, respect for others and goal-setting skills. The emphasis on personal achievement also builds conﬁ dence: success is within the reach of every student. FMA S.A.F.E. Our curriculum gives children the tools they need to recognize potentially harmful and dangerous situations, and respond appropriately to them. We focus on the following topics: Safety Anti-Bullying Fitness Empowerment Demo Team FMA students will polish their basics, forms and ﬁ ghting skills for various performances throughout the community. The Demo Team is a fun class, which will empower FMA students as they learn to manage their anxiety when performing in front of large crowds. Competition Training FMA provides additional competition training for members interested in tournaments. In these classes, students will be further challenged by being pushed at a higher intensity and developing the competition skills and strategies necessary to excel at tournaments.

NOTE TO PARENTS $140 for only one week. $130 per week with one month contract. $120 per week with contract for the school year. Please remember that the weekly tuition is due on the Friday BEFORE the following week of attendance. If payment is not made by the preceding Friday, there will be a $15 late penalty. Three days or more is considered a full week. $45 for one day.
