Cat Stevens - Father and Son 1.1. Die Aufnahmen wurden 2001 auf der CD-Box ,,On The Road To Find Out" von A&M ver¨offentlicht. [Eigner06, S20-39] Die fruhen¨ Erfolge durch ,,I Love my Dog" und ,,First Cut is the Dee- pest" machten Cat Stevens innerhalb kurzester¨ Zeit zum Star. ,,Mona Bone Jakon" und anschließend ,,Tea for the Tiller- man". [DiscMusicEcho16-03-68] 3 1.2. Tea for the Tillerman - Produktion. ,,Father and Son" erschien auf dem Album ,,Tea for The Tillerman" im Jahr 1970. Aufbau Father and Son aufgegriffen wird. (F) It's not time to make a change, just relax take it easy, you're still young that's your fault there's so much you have to know. Find a girl settle down, If you want you can marry, look at me, I am old but I'm happy (F) I was once like you are now, and I know that it's not easy, to be calm when you've found something going on. But take you time, think a lot why think of everything you've got, For you will still be here tomorrow, but your dreams may not. (S) How can I try to explain, 'cause when I do he turns away again It's always been the same same old story From the moment I could talk I was ordered to listen, now there's a way and I know that I have to go. Away 5 I know, I have to go. (F) It's not time to make a change, just sit down, take it slowly, you're still young that's your fault, (S)Away away away, there's so much you have to go I know through. I have to make Find a girl settle down this decision if you want you can marry, alone - no look at me I am old, but I'm happy (S)All the times that I've cried keeping all the things I knew inside it's hard, but it's harder to ignore it. (F)Stay stay stay, If they were right, I'd agree, why must you go but it's them they know not me and make this decision now there's a way, alone? and I know that I have to go away, I know I have to go.

Chaos Sauce Battles the Pink Row-BOTs A bomBARDed Fall One-Off Written by Nick Goodrich Disclaimer: This was written for the bards in the podcast BomBARDed and will require a little reworking to make work for your table. I have included a few notes in blue on some ideas for modifications and also just some notes about what i was thinking while writing (and also thoughts about how stuff panned out in the session) that might help inspire you to do something better than what i was thinking. BUT! Thank you so much for checking this out and I hope you and your players have a blast! RECAP OF THE 2019 bombarDEAD Halloween Spooktacular This one-off is pretty separated from the Halloween one-off, so feel free to skip this portion if you just want to have your players arrive at the fair. The reason for them being at the fair is totally up to you! I really wanted this and the halloween one off to be two stand alone adventures, which is why i had Johnny Fincher, the cleric, Elmyra and Ned Cromancy leave right away. Thankfully no one tried to follow them lol. Last year’s Halloween Episode started off with Chaos Sauce heading into Beln, but not before passing Deboza Hexa’s haunted house just outside of town. From the road we saw Deboza, who was freaking out about her haunted house having to close, and Aura Gannheiser, the events coordinator for Beln, talking heatedly, passionately in front of this dilapidated mansion of mystery. After Deboza stormed off into the house, Aura joined us on our way into town, and filled us in on how some of the kids in town were going into the house and coming out way older than when they went in, and how that’s obviously not cool and oh by the way the Youngkin Festival is happening huzzah! The Youngkin Festival of course being when farmers of Beln try to grow the smallest, cutest pumpkin.

INVESTIGATING SONG-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING AND ITS EFFECT ON LEXICAL LEARNING by FRIEDERIKE ANNA GERDA TEGGE A thesis submitted to the Victoria University of Wellington in fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Victoria University of Wellington 2015 1 i Abstract The present thesis addresses the following question: Can popular songs as they are currently used in second and foreign language classrooms benefit lexical learning? Lexical learning is defined as the acquisition of new vocabulary as well as the consolidation and further elaboration of familiar words and phrases. To answer this research question, three methodologically distinct studies are reported. In the first study an international questionnaire explored teacher cognitions as well as actual teaching practices involving songs. The responses of 568 informants in 41 countries indicate that a majority of respondents believe in the usefulness of songs for language learning and that many respondents utilize songs in class for clearly defined pedagogical purposes, including vocabulary learning. The questionnaire also elicited information from the respondents about the way they incorporate songs in lessons, including details about how often a song is played and what types of form- and meaning-focused activities are used to engage learners with the lyrics of a song. The second study investigated the lexical characteristics of teacher-selected songs and the vocabulary learning opportunities they afford. For this purpose, a corpus of 635 songs used for ESL/EFL purposes, comprising 177,384 tokens, was compiled and analysed. Results indicate that teacher-selected songs are short, repetitive and relatively undemanding as far as lexis is concerned compared to other authentic text genres.
