Dr Gina Radford, Consultant in Public Health at NHS 15 minutes Cambridgeshire.

10. OTHER NEIGHBOURHOOD ISSUES

Covering the Parishes of Broughton, Bury, Colne, Old Hurst, Pidley-cum-Fenton, Ramsey, Somersham, & The Raveleys, , Wistow and Woodhurst.

An opportunity for those present to raise any issues of local concern 20 minutes in the neighbourhood.

Items already identified include:

• Planning and climate change in the East of ; • RAF Upwood – on which Mr Adrian Sail of Strawsons Property will attend to answer residents concerns.

The Panel to :- 5 minutes

• Prioritise issues emerging from the forum; and • Allocate responsibility where necessary to ensure that issues raised in the forum are dealt with by the appropriate organisation

An opportunity for those present to raise issues for inclusion on the 5 minutes agenda for future meetings.

14. CURRENT CONSULTATIONS/INFORMATION

Huntingdonshire District Council – Retain Your Right To Vote

The Electoral Register lists the name and address of everyone who has registered to vote and is held at your local Council office. Registration forms have been delivered to all properties in

Huntingdonshire. The qualifying st date is 15 October 2011 and the new register will be published on 1 December 2011.

If you are not on the register you will not be able to vote.

Consultation On Review Of The Decision To Remove All Subsidised Bus Service Funding.

Cambridgeshire County Council wants to hear your views on changes and reductions being proposed to bus services which are supported by financial contributions from Council funds. A questionnaire is available on the following link: www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/busreview . Cambridgeshire County Council Priority Setting For 2012/13.

Cambridgeshire County Council is asking people’s views on investing in areas such as community transport, highways maintenance, action to try and prevent future needs for social care and the creation of hubs where local services, such as libraries, can be accessed in one place. An online consultation is available at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/budgetconsultationth . The closing date is 7 October 2011.
