Heather Moyse to continue as brand ambassador for Potatoes

Heather Moyse, an Olympic gold medalist hailing from Prince Edward Island, will continue her role as brand ambassador for Prince Edward Island Potatoes.

After a successful first year representing Prince Edward Island Potatoes at consumer and trade events across and via social media, Ms. Moyse will be active in promoting PEI potatoes while competing for spots on both Canada's women's team as well as Canada's women's bobsled team.

Ms. Moyse and teammate were gold medalists at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC, the first ever Canadian Olympic gold medal in women's bobsled. Ms. Moyse is also a veteran of Canada's senior women's rugby team, playing in 22 international matches and tying as the leading try-scorer at the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup in .

In the press release, the Prince Edward Island Potato Board said it is very proud of Ms. Moyse and cheers her on as she sets her sights on the 2013 Rugby Sevens World Cup in Moscow and the in Sochi, Russia.
