‘A NUTCRACKER CHRISTMAS’ Cast Bios AMY ACKER (Lily) – Amy Acker is known to millions of fans throughout the world for her long-running starring roles as Winifred “Fred” Burkle/Illyria in Joss Whedon’s hit sci-fi/fantasy series “Angel,” with David Boreanaz. For her portrayal, Amy received four Saturn Award nominations, and won in 2004 as Best Supporting Actress. Born and raised in Dallas, Amy becan her acting career there, appearing in episodes of the popular series “Wishbone,” which filmed in and around the city. Most recently, Amy co-starred for four seasons in the hit series “Person of Interest,” and guest-starred in an episode of the “MacGyver” reboot that aired in September. Amy has guest-starred in a large number of TV series, including “Suits,” “Con Man,” “Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.,” “Husbands,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Grimm,” “Warehouse 13,” “The Good Wife,” “Private Practive,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “Ghost Whisperer,” among others. She had recurring roles in the series “Justice League,” “Dollhouse” and “Happy Town,” and has play a wide range of roles in TV movies, including Hallmark Channel’s “A Novel Romance” and “Dear Santa,” directed by “Beverly Hills 90210’s” Jason Priestly. On the big screen, Amy starred in The Cabin in the Woods and appeared in the Leonardo DiCaprio-Tom Hanks starrer Catch Me if You Can. She has also appeared in several independent features, including The Energy Specialist, Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife, 21 and a Wake-Up and The Novice. # # # SASCHA RADETSKY (Mark) – Sascha Radetsky’s parents entered him in his first ballet class at the age of five in an effort to channel his energy while he waited for for his older sister to finish her ballet classes. At 15, he moved to Moscow to study at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, then to Washington, D.C. to train at the Kirov Academy. At 18, he joined American Ballet Theatre, the country’s national ballet company, ultimately achieving the rank of Soloist. He also danced as a principal with the Dutch National Ballet, and as a guest principal with the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Berlin Staatsballett, Ballet San Jose, Ballet do Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, and the Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Ballet. He is currently Director of the ABT/NYU Master’s in Ballet Pedagogy Program, and teaches regularly for American Ballet Theatre. He’s choreographed for the Juilliard School, Bucknell University, and for Under Armor athletic wear, and has lectured about dance at venues ranging from universities to prisons. Radetsky starred as Charlie Simms in the feature film Center Stage, in Mandy Moore’s music video “I Wanna Be With You,” and in the TV movie “Center Stage: On Pointe.” Last year, he played a leading role in the Starz limited series, "Flesh and Bone." # # # SOPHIA LUCIA (Sadie) – Young dance prodigy Sophia Lucia won first prize in the 2015 YouTube series “Teen Dance Challenge,” was named Best Junior Female Dancer in the 2014 Dance Awards, and earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for completing the most consecutive Pirouettes ... a total of 55. Her tremendous talent has extended to television as well, where she made her debut as iconic child star Shirley Temple in an episode of “Fox Legacy with Tom Rothman.” She has gone on to dance on hit shows “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Dance Moms,” “America’s Got Talent” and “The X Factor,” as well as on talk shows “Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Ricki Lake Show.” Sophia has also appeared in episodes of a number of scripted TV series, among them “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn,” “Kirby Buckets” and “Shake It Up!” -- HALLMARK CHANNEL – .
