1. Due to COVID19, umpires are not responsible to hold on to caps or any items from players during the game. Umpires are instructed to collect 2 balls from each team. In the instance of ball lost or torn(unplayable) during an inning, umpire must collect 1 ball from each team to use. After each innings, left out balls will be given back to team. 2. Both captains must agree on the balls that are collected by the umpires. 3. One neutral umpire cannot overrule another neutral umpire (Bowler’s end or Leg Umpire). 4. A player(s) from the declared 12 shows up late, the player can field immediately. However, the player must wait (bat or bowl) the number of over the player is late. (waiting time rule). a. Super Sub Player must be available from Start to end of 1st innings. Waiting time rule (refer above) still apply when late. b. Any player arriving after the 1st inning’s break time - 12 overs cannot play in that game. 12. Duckworth-Lewis calculator by Robert Fear version 4 App available on Android mobile devices shall be used for calculation. 13. LBW Doubts a. When the ball edged/nicked the bat or pitched outside leg stump before hitting the pad, LBW cannot be given. Consult with Leg or Bowler’s end umpire if required. b. When from around, ball pitched on leg stump, no bat involved, and ball would have hit the stumps – the batsman shall be declared OUT through LBW.
