Notification and Reporting a. Confirmation of entry into the competition – Provincial Union Secretaries should notify the Tournament Director by 31st July 2018 of the team from their Provincial Unions who will be participating in the All-Ireland T20 Cup, with all three matches to be held on Saturday 18th August. b. Captains’ Reports – All captains will be required to complete an online captain’s report for each match. This report should be completed within seven days of the completion of the match. The report is intended as a means of assessing the quality of both officials and facilities being used for the competition, and your assistance in this matter is appreciated. To complete these captains’ reports, log on to www.whostheumpire.net and complete the feedback form for the match. 2. Eligibility a. The competition will be open to all players who have been registered for their clubs in their respective Provincial Union competitions. Any club wishing to play a player in this competition must ensure he is confirmed as registered by their Provincial Union’s registration committee (or similar authority). b. Any player banned by any of Cricket Ireland’s affiliated Provincial Unions (LCU,MCU, NCU or NWCU), for an offence at Level 3 or above, will not be eligible to play in the competition for any club while the ban is in place, irrespective of the nature of the ban, i.e., period of time or number of matches.

    THE LAWS OF CRICKET THE PREAMBLE – THE SPIRIT OF CRICKET Cricket is a game that owes much of its unique appeal to the fact that it should be played not only within its Laws but also within the Spirit of the Game. Any action which is seen to abuse this spirit of fair play rests with the captains. 1. There are two Laws which place the responsibility for the team’s conduct firmly on the captain. Responsibility of captains The captains are responsible at all times for ensuring that play is conducted within the Spirit of the game as well as within the Laws. Player’s conduct In the event of a player failing to comply with instructions by an umpire, or criticising by word or action the decisions of an umpire, or showing dissent, or generally behaving in a manner which might bring the game into disrepute, the umpire concerned shall in the first place report the matter to the other umpire and to the player’s captain, and instruct the latter to take action. 2. Fair and unfair play According to the Laws the umpires are the sole judges of fair and unfair play. The umpires may intervene at any time and it is the responsibility of the captain to take action where required. 3. The umpires are authorised to intervene in cases of: • Time wasting • Damaging the pitch • Dangerous and unfair bowling • Tampering with the ball • Any other action that they consider to be unfair 4. The Spirit of the Game involves RESPECT for: • Your opponents • Your own captain and team • The role of the umpires • The game’s traditional values 5.

    Intramural Sports Indoor Cricket Rules NC State University Recreation uses a modified version of the Laws of Cricket as established by the World Indoor Cricket Federation. The rules listed below represent the most important aspects of the game with which to be familiar. University Recreation follows all rules and guidelines stated by the World Indoor Cricket Federation not stated below. Rule 1: The Pitch A. Indoor Cricket will be played on a basketball court. B. The pitch is the 10-yard-long strip between wickets. Lines will be painted on the pitch to denote specific areas of play (creases, wide ball, no ball lines). Refer to Figure 1 for specific dimensions. Figure 1. Cricket pitch dimensions 16” C. Boundaries will be denoted by the supervisor on site and agreed upon by both captains prior to the beginning of the match. D. The exclusion zone is an arc around the batting crease. No players are allowed in the exclusion zone until the batsman hits the ball or passes through the wickets. If a player enters the exclusion zone, a no ball will be called. Rule 2: Equipment A. Each batsman on the pitch must use a cricket bat provided by the team or Intramural Sports. B. Cricket balls will be provided by Intramural Sports. The umpires will evaluate the condition of the balls prior to the start of each match. These balls must be used for all Intramural Sport Tape Ball Cricket matches. C. Intramural Sports will provide (2) wickets, each consisting of three stumps and two bails to be used in every Intramural Sport Tape Ball Cricket match.

    GREATER CINCINNATI KNOTHOLE SELECT TRAVELING LEAGUE *** 2013 INFORMATION AND RULES *** I. MISSION AND PURPOSE: The Knothole Select Traveling League will give players and teams the opportunity to play in an additional league outside their District. All Knothole players and teams shall also play their District regular season schedule. Each traveling team shall play between 12-18 games depending on the Class and number of teams in the Class. It is expected that teams will be structured to be committed to playing their full Traveling League schedule in a competitive fashion. This will be a City wide League, but depending on the number of teams in each Class or Sub-class, regional scheduling will be attempted. Also, since each Class consists of multiple ages, if enough teams are registered in each age of a Class, schedules shall be weighted by age. This League shall include Classes A (15U, 14U), B (13U, 12U), C (11U, 10U) and D (9U). II. MANAGEMENT AND STRUCTURE A.     T20 Playing Conditions and Regulations 2018 1 TWENTY20 Cup Playing Conditions 1.1 The competition shall be called the Warwickshire Cricket League’s Twenty 20 Cup and shall be open to all League Clubs, who may enter one team each irrespective of the number of sides that the Club enters throughout the League’s divisions. The competition will be played in 2 bands, the first to cover Premier Division 1 and Division 2 and Division 3 Clubs and the second to cover all other Clubs. Entries are optional and must be received by the League before 1st April. 1.2 Only registered Club players as shown on the Play Cricket registration system shall be eligible to participate in the competition, and no player shall be eligible to play for more than one Club in any one season. The penalty for fielding an unregistered player will be expulsion from the competition with the match awarded to the opposing Club, with further possible sanction in line with standard playing regulation 2.12. 1.2.1 To play in the competition, a player should be registered before the first round of the competition. Normal transfers will be considered, but players who have not played at least 4 club games before the regional finals cannot be selected for rounds beyond this stage of the competition. The competition committee will consider exceptions by appeal. The decision of the competition committee will be final. 1.3 A full draw shall be made prior to the start of the season and will, if the League so determines, be regionalised into zones for each competition.

    PLAYING CONDITIONS 2020/21 GAME 4 – T20 MATCHES APPLICATION (a) These Playing Conditions shall apply to- (i) all scheduled T20 matches, and; (ii) any other match as determined by the SCA. (b) Except as varied hereunder, the Laws of Cricket (2017 Code, 2nd Edition - 2019) shall apply. All references under the Laws of Cricket to ‘Governing Body’ shall mean the Sydney Cricket Association. (c) All references to the SCA shall mean the NSW Premier Cricket Manager and Committee. (d) Solely for the purposes of a player’s statistics, matches in Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup competition shall carry Premier First Grade status. THE LAWS OF CRICKET: THE PREAMBLE - THE SPIRIT OF CRICKET (refer Spirit of Cricket supplement). The Preamble applies to all members of SCA affiliates, and makes team captains responsible at all times for ensuring that play is conducted within the Spirit of the Game as well as within the Laws. 4.1 LAW 1 (THE PLAYERS) shall apply subject to as follows. 4.1.1 Qualifications of Players (a) General (i) Each player shall register with the SCA by completing an SCA registration form prior to his first match in a season. (ii) Each club shall obtain photographic identification in order to authenticate the registration of a player appearing at a club for the first time. (iii) Each club shall enter electronically, prior to each player’s participation in a match, each player’s registration details in the club’s MyCricket cricket management system. (iv) No player may play for more than one team in the same season of any competition unless as with the SCA’s prior approval.
